Some of those Israelis really piss me off at times and I don't have a dog in this fight. Apparently there is proof that Hamas was based and operating out of the basement underground of a large hospital in Gaza. An Israeli government spokesman said "They knew. Every single doctor interviewed by an international media outlet who denied, with a straight face, that Hamas operated out of the hospital. They all knew.Cowed by Hamas or collaborators with it, they are all complicit."

I thought that cowed must have meant something different than what I always believed it to be so I checked and it does not mean something different, it means to be frightened by threats or violence. So to be scared into keeping your mouth shut means being complicit according to Eylon Levy, the government spokesman. 

Israel is desperate at this point. They've screwed the pooch like no one has since WWII, and I don't see them lying their way out of it. They're either going to accept a just settlement, or rightfully be recognized and treated as a pariah, just like South Africa was under apartheid.

I'm seeing more & more people on a daily basis beginning to comment on the indiscriminate bombing of Gaza. The world is watching.

What I'm hearing is that the number of Pals killed is more than 10,000, and with minimal water and electricity many children and elderly people are dying every day. The overwhelming majority of the deaths are civilian, so it's collective punishment, on a scale that constitutes genocide. Israeli officials are openly stating that children should be killed to prevent them from growing up to be fighters.

As I've said before, this world would be a far better place if Israel ceased to exist.

It is sickening to me. I am seeing people that, before this, I used to admire & respect, siding with Israel. The overwhelming majority of people are not differentiating between Hamas and the Palestinian people. I am over this shit.

Hamas extremists want *all* Israelis dead, and Zionist extremists feel the same way about Pals. The difference is that Israel has the ability to actually do it. Hamas doesn't.

The purpose of the Hamas attack wasn't to kill Israeli civilians, they were trying to capture Israeli soldiers. One Israeli soldier is worth a king's ransom. Israel prefers to kill it's soldiers rather than allow them to be captured, even if that entails killing Israeli civilians. It's called the Hannibal Directive. They've claimed it is no longer in effect, because it became a matter of public knowledge. Just like a thief who gets caught and claims he'll stop thieving.
