How hot is it? Damn that sounds miserable!
It was blowing warm air earlier and now it's cool like a cold front came through. The storm can go, but I'll keep the cold air. I just got a warning for a flash flood in my area, but there isnt even a puddle on the ground. I guess that's the meaning of a flash flood, it will come in a flash.
See you still have power, we still do too. Lights flickered once, but that's it so far.
We have been under a "tornado" watch all day and still till at least for now until 7:15 tomorrow morning. Several tornados have touched down all around my area! Scary.
Certainly can't sleep, and stopped watching the weather terrorists hours ago.
However, most TV channels have a strip running constantly on top of the screen
stating the tornado watch for all the counties involved.

Yep, still have to get thru all day today and even into tomorrow morning. Heavy rains and flooding predicted.

I'm trying not to read too much into the silence of some of my family, but it's hard not to even tho logically I should expect them to have lost electricity. I've been searching for info on their location since 4:00 AM and there is nothing since yesterday afternoon.

If they lost power, all the cell towers in the area are out too. Keep trying, they will be working on repairs ASAP.

The guy in Tampa, who decided to ride out the storm on his boat (he was nicknamed Lt. Dan on tiktok), actually made it through the storm, alive and well. My day is now complete.
In other news, Florida got hit with at least 38 tornadoes, which did cause a few deaths. Clearwater (where some of my family lives) saw about 15 inches of rain, and is still dealing with storm surge. I think St. Petersburg had the most rain at a little over 17 inches.
Glad Cars and Sally checked in. Sorry you guys are going through this.

It's not a big deal, just a pain in the ass when they cant go outside to use the bathroom. I wasnt mad or anything, when you gotta go you gotta go. Did you see the story about the asshole that tied their dog to a pole and left it there during the hurricane?

I heard about that. Fuckin a, I'm going down with my dog.
I know the South has a different attitude about dogs though, I had someone help me chop up a grapple once, and he said Southern hunters don't care who they shoot. Meh

Someone tied Millie the pig, several goats and a donkey at a gas station in Lithia, Florida. They were rescued thank god. What are people thinking when they do that? *sigh* Sometimes I hate people.
