Hey, I had a set of 1500TC silk sheets for 8 years. They were DAMNED nice. Smiley_emoticons_smile

Then my idiot brother spilled something all over them that he said was beer, was definitely NOT beer, and stained them up beyond all hope of coming clean. I was pissed. Smiley_emoticons_slash

Ah sorry, I completely overlooked that.

I'm afraid silk sheets might be annoying. I can't stand my sheets to get all wrinkled and such. I don't know though, since I've never tried them. A good quality high TC cotton sheet set is fabulous though.

Nice sheets really don't matter much to me because I don't use the top sheet. It gets all tangled up and drives me nuts, especially if it's at a hotel and they have you tucked in like a sardine. I like covering up with just a down comforter.

Thats what I do in Winter (now), but in summer I use ONLY a top sheet, with NO blankets. Very comfortable. I've got this thing where I can't sleep without some sorta covering. Don't ask why, because I really don't know or care. I just do it Smiley_emoticons_razz

You use both sheets in a hotel don't you??
You do know that they don't wash those blankets right?
Christ, they might as well just weave a comforter out of pubic hair for you.:o

Am I the only one with a motel room germ phobia?
Have you ever really looked at the sheets?
Have you ever wondered how damn dirty the remote is or where it's been?
Have you ever used a motel room coffee maker?

I have to be covered up too. But I need a bit of fresh air so I crack the window right over my bed in the winter. I like that cool air on my face and to be all toasty warm under the heated blanket. I have 800 TC EC sheets and they are wonderful. I hate scratchy sheets.

I go to festivals... I'm not TOO super worried about germs. I take 'reasonable' precautions, but we're all exposed to so many frigging germs all the time, we would freak out if we really knew the depth of it. :O
