Reading that kinda makes me wish I still got a real tree. I did that for a lot of years until I got tired of putting so much time & effort into decorating my home only to have it last a couple weeks, now with my artificial tree I can have it up for a couple months, at least through Epiphany.

I don't think Santa should be smoking cigarettes.

I think Santa should be drinking a Pepsi instead of Coca-Cola.but at least he's not drinking a Dr. Pepper.

So I am scrolling through the headlines as I am won't to do most mornings and I see "welcome to the holidays! A time filled with cheer, presents and one persisting ethical question--do we tell the kids the truth about Santa".
Since when did this become a question of ethics FFS?
I think most of us believed in Santa until we didn't.

My oldest brother Jim told me about there not being a Santa Claus when I was 8. Even showed us our parent's presents hiding spot.

I'm making a beef stew with homemade noodles and bread. It's not a traditional Christmas dinner, but I had all of the ingredients and wanted to avoid the grocery store. My son is going to bring stuffed mushrooms.

Mmmm bread. Is it crusty on the outside and soft on the inside? I can picture that with the stew or a big pot of homemade soup. It sounds divine.
