It’s making me crazy looking for it.
Did you find it yet?

Nah. I’ve given up; false memory? I thought it was sort of bluesy like the “Colors” song of 5 years ago but had “misty” and “water colors”.
But I wasted enough time searching lyrics and listening to songs that weren’t it.
Thank you for wondering though. All the other assholes in here just left me out to dry, fuckers.

Holy crap, Clang!!! That absolutely WASN’T the song I thought I remembered but WEIRD that it specifically mentions “misty water color…”. I thought you were poking fun at my memory until I actually started listening and remembered the words but that’s just bizarre.
Ur freaking me out; wonder if my subconscious is trying to tell me something.
I’m clearly a deeply disturbed person, lol.

No but yes. lol, the 3 words are there but I definitely wasn’t thinking of Barbara Streisand. I think I came up with some weird song mash up which would be a top hit if I actually knew a thing about composing music, lol.

Water color Days by Bobby Goldsboro is what I found, but I have no idea why anyone would want to listen to that fucking song.

Maybe Marsha and Jan Brady would like it.

Speaking of the Brady's. I was falling asleep to something on TV the other night and I saw the guys who played a couple of the brothers. They are old as fuck! Old men!

Can I just fucking say (why yes, I can) I am goddamn sick of my siblings and two months into being a CO-TTEE with my brother for my mom’s trust, I want to strangle all of them? My sister is absconding with shit (including the garage remote control for my mom’s vacation house) AND prematurely wanting $100k to help her son buy a house (we’re in the 120 day contestment period for the trust; nobody should be asking for money until at least late August). Meanwhile my brother has promised my mom’s car to his stepson and plans to change title on it in the next few days (he tells me Bluebook value is around $2k which I think is a gross underestimate).
The fuck? Gawt dammit I’m not exactly a rule follower all the time but I think 25 years of watching my husband manage other people’s money has made me a little crazy about following rules where finances are involved.
As I said, my sister wants $100k sooner (vs later) and my brother said “well we should take $100k at the same time”. I was like…no, thank you. The only other beneficiaries are my deceased brother’s kids at $100k each (flat amount) and I’m NOT going to self deal me any money until they get their share. Fuck that.
We finally (kinda worked out) that my brother’s kids will get some equal percentage wise distribution of their inheritance simultaneously to my sister getting her dumb $100k (so there’s no preferential treatment of beneficiaries) but this isn’t rocket science. And I STILL don’t want any part of a distribution until later (the money is invested and we’d have to liquidate investments to accommodate everything we’re facing).
Trauma dump.

Why the fuck does anyone think it’s okay to leave me with a tiny bit of soap when we have a dozen bars in our linen closet for the taking?

I buy these assholes body wash and keep the Dove unscented bar soap for me. I hide it behind my pouf so my husband doesn’t set his eyes on it.

I do love me some Irish Spring soap, I’m not sure how good it is for your skin though. Oh and Prell shampoo smells really good too even though it makes my hair look like shit.

Dove unscented sliver there, lol. That’s ALL I buy because I like it and I’m a little freaky about what we use now that we’re on a septic system.
But seriously, there are a dozen bars in our linen closet at any given time and I’m left with a chip.

I hate shit like that. My sister used to leave me the same amount of ice cream. I would drive home, past the store, get home, go to the freezer and have 1 fucking bite left in the container.
She thought it was so nice that she did that? What? No. Eat the whole damn thing and tell me to stop at the store on my way home.

I like the smell of Dial antibacterial and Irish Spring too but again, the septic system and even if that weren’t a factor, I’m kinda too lazy to use one product on my face and then switch to something else for the rest of me.
I have all our bathrooms stocked with sulfate free shampoos and conditioners and stuff too. And I use natural dishwashing soaps and laundry detergent.
And, never anything containing bleach.
The septic system freaks me out. Afraid the whole system might vomit on any given day if it’s not handled properly.
