Hmmm-pretty sedate. I was thinking more along the lines of a cheating no good son of a bitch, but nothing specific. Smiley_emoticons_wink

I've had horror stories as an Assistant Manager at a Garden Center of all things!

One time (my boss has 3 young kids, the oldest was 11 at the time) one of our female employees flashed her tits to show her friend her new nipple ring. With the 3 boys right there. All caught on security cam. We had someone stealing from the tills, apparently they thought the cameras on PLAIN VIEW were fake or something. Totally blatant. We had another guy that tried to claim he was working for us in his lawsuit after he was hit by a car so he could get lost wages. He'd been fired months before for no-call/no-show. And thats just the tip of the ice berg.

I've never heard of a garden center on the tip of an iceberg before.

Nice. And to think I am worried about someone doctoring their timecard. I guess I will have to re-think my criteria. OBTW-we have 24 hr survellience and a time card punch-in system for employees.

Not nearly the same.

Well, sort of the same sometimes, but no employment taxes. Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

I loved it the first year. We had great employees. But too many of them left afterwards because they didn't like being laid off in the winter. After that it went down hill. Fast. :(

I have found employees are great until you actually expect them to work. Then they kind of suck.

I have 19 now, at least 40 this year that don't work for me anymore, I won't be posting all the shit I have seen, heard or fucking had to deal with.

we use a thumb print system, fucking time cards can be punched by anyone at midnite when the second shift gets off.

I caught one guy punching out five other employee's( one of my best days ever I fired 6 guys the next morning ) he came in and punched himself out went out of the camera, changed fucking sweat shirts pulled the hood up and punched out someone else he did that shit each time , he may have gotten away with it except one of the other workers was female, with a fairly nice shape, this guy was fucking big as a goddamn truck.

I should add that the camera went in without notification, but the fucking thing was right behind him flashing a fucking red light everytime it took a picture.

thus the reason for my edit, thumb print time clock !!

What an asshat. Although I am not surprised. The one thing I've found is, no matter how jaded you are, someone will come along to show you that you are an idiot for being trustful.

Everybody is employed by someone. Even if its their clients. I'm guessing your employees hate you equally.

PS I've had employees and I've been one (and I've been an employee who had employees).

I'm sure they would be great until they started actually wanting money from you. Ungrateful bastards.
