I'd have to say comedy, I actually like horror & thrillers/suspense movies but, I can't control my imagination & I can scare myself so bad I am frozen in fear, it's just awful...It got to the point that I would hear sounds outside & convince myself the boogyman was out there.

You know, I LOVE horror movies and hardly ever get frightened by them but the worst dream I ever had was after watching Goodfellas. Real life violence freaks me out.

where is "Action". Probably should change Mystery/Thriller to Action or Mystery/Action.
For example the current #1 movie Taken is an Action movie, etc.

Also, I'm not into slasher films. I like good psychological or supernatural horror.

I've tried a few slasher films, and some of the OLDER classic ones are actually pretty decent, in a campy sort of way (you know, Halloween, Friday the 13th) but the newer such films are usually just poor remakes of the same, with less plot, worse production, terrible actors and too much reliance on 'gross out'.

Mystery thrillers, no doubt.

I do favor movies where time travel is somehow involved. It can even be sort of campy, but I love the whole idea of it.

(Perhaps that's why I'm digging this season of LOST.)

Now, a specific movie, I can't think of the title, but it involves a U.S. Carrier that goes back to WW2, and is just on the outside of Pearl Harbor. Jets from the carrier shot down a few Japanese airplanes as they're on their way to attack, one Japanese pilot is captured after crash landing in the ocean.

I wish I could remember the name of it- came out in the earlier to mid 1980's I think.
