PITTSFIELD MASS. -- Under heavy guard at Central Berkshire District Court on Monday, a Hells Angels member and two alleged accomplices were arraigned on murder charges in the deaths of three men whose bodies were recovered Saturday.
The Massachusetts man, 31, and two cohorts are facing murder and kidnapping charges in connection with the deaths of three men, one of whom was expected to testify against one of the accused killers in an upcoming criminal trial.

Veiovis and his codefendants are connected to a Hells Angels chapter, according to investigators. The three men were scheduled to be arraigned this morning in District Court.

Those guys who did that to their faces, it's a kind of mutilation and self loathing. Sometimes people can go to jail and maybe find themselves and change. They don't seem to realise the damage they have done to themselves by socially austrasizing themselves from society. There would be alot of rejection and eventually that would manifest into anger and whatever the consequences were of their actions.

It's terrible what people do to themselves and others. The thing that astounds me, is that you guys in the US do seem to have alot of violence and stuff that goes on there. More so than other western nations. I am always hearing about some new weird dude over there. I had to turn the crime and investigation channel was too much. Those crimes just keep coming, it's never ending.

It's crazy. We have the highest level of incarceration on the planet. Our entire population is essentially the population rounding error in China, yet we have more people under penalty in the criminal justice system. I have no idea why.

The mugshot from this Gawker post isn't that funny by itself, but the I thought the first comment in the thread was hillarious.

An Iowa City woman was arrested Thursday morning after police say she refused to get out of her car after she was pulled over.

Crystal Ray, 30 of Iowa City, faces charges of driving while her license was revoked and interference with official acts causing injury after police say she was pulled over near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Myrtle Avenue but refused to get out of her car and drove away from police.

When she did stop, Ray again refused to get out of the car, and police had to break a rear window and physically remove her from the vehicle, Iowa City police reported.

A teenage girl is accused of breaking into a neighbour's home through a doggy door and stealing items to pay for pornography.

Amanda Owens, 18, was allegedly caught after Darin Pake, 44, who had previously hired her as a babysitter, set up a surveillance camera.

He said he took the unusual measure after noticing several items missing from his home in St Paul, Minnesota.

Over the course of two days, his camera was gone. And his brief case. And a jar of money.

In an attempt to stop anything else from disappearing, he installed a video camera to see where his things were going.

He was not expecting the visual he taped.

The footage showed his 18-year-old neighbour Amanda Owens crawling into his house from the doggy door.
