hah FU....AHEM RAMS....You never told me all this!^^^

RE: Noob...but not lame - ramseycat - 09-25-2012

I really wish I could see FU's pic from work. I can only imagine what he came up with.

As for the rest of you who gives a shit what you people think? It's a picture. I did have a perm in the 80's so yes my hair was curly in that other pic. Now it's not. It doesn't grow out of my head curly. So there you have it. If and when I have a pic to put up I will put it up.

JS you can put the one up with my coworkers. They don't care.

Did you hear that Jsmom, put up the one with the co-workers. Why Ramsey can't do it herself is fucking beyond me.

Because they are on Facebook and it's blocked from work.

Ramsey, try adding an "s" after the http

https://facebook.com

Smiley_emoticons_wink

That might get you past the firewall.

So Duch, is Blackberry the way to go? Oprah had one too.

It has everything I want or could possibly need, Aussie. I need to be able to check my email & access the internet when I'm on the go, all smartphones allow that though. Among my friends I'm the only one with a BB, they have iPhones, Droids and other names and they all like their phone as much as I like mine.

RE: Noob...but not lame - aussiefriend - 09-27-2012

Here's what I don't like about the iphones and those like them. Is the touch screen. Maybe it's my old age. I can't text as fast. The Blackberry has physical buttons and you can text and email. With this touch screen it's slow and hard to manoeuvre. At the moment, I am using a Samsung changed from the Nokia. I think the Blackberry might be the next step for me if you can easily email and do all that stuff on it. I am finding the touchscreen hard to get used to. I am only using the phone for phone calls. Hardly utilising all that it can do.

As Gunny Highway once said, "Adapt and overcome, numbnuts."

Aussie, check out crackberry.com. They have a forum there as well as a plethora of other things, it may help to better inform you. If you get a BB they a a great deal of ringtones, wallpapers, etc.

The only thing I don't like about this phone is that it won't constantly alert me to a missed phone call or text message, it only does it when it arrives, if I don't hear it I may not check for quite sometime, I always have to be mindful of that.
