Oil rigs are beautiful though!
I like going to a parking lot where they’ve installed solar panels (becoming more common around here). Free shade for my car and placed judiciously they’re not at all unsightly.

In Europe they use solar panels to create shade over bike lanes.
I love my country, but other places do so much better than the United States on a variety of things.

Interesting that you said you “love your country”. I haven’t thought about it for a long time (it was just sort of a given that I did). I did.
Sadly though I think I’m falling out of love, lol. And it’s not just Trump (although he’s accelerating things). I used to always at least think about how awful it would be to live in a country with an authoritarian regime—and we were blessed in that regard.

In a deposition on Epstein Trump said actors have been "grabbing pussy" for over a million years. And he said "good or not"
And just recently he said he wasn't priviliged to be invited to Epstein's island.
And he said he and Jeffery are no longer friends because Epstein had poached some of his employees, but first Trump said, "Because he did something inappropriate" and then he tells the story about him stealing employees.
Trump said more bad things about wind mills than Epstein.
The employee-according only to comments I read in articles may have been the now dead Virginia Guffrie.
