Do you really believe that they are done in a willy nilly manner? C'mon. There are always reasons that a wanted pregnancy could end in an abortion when the mother is months along. That's a horrible fact of life and it happens.

Then in cases where those conditions are diagnosed by a physician who has no affiliation with abortion providers, there should be an exception.

Unfortunately, neither side has a history of trying to reach a fair compromise, so we've vacillated back and forth between the two extremes, which leaves no room for achieving "settled law".

There is no medical reason to perform a partial birth abortion on a viable baby, you just deliver via c-section. When there is an emergency in late term pregnancy with someone who wants the baby then they do an emergency c-section, not kill the baby. There is no medical reason for an abortion at that point.

Do they put you under for a c-section? Probably not a good idea if someone has a life-threatening illness.

May be a moot point because a lot of women are having miscarriages after being vaccinated.

Partial birth abortion is a term made up by the frothy right, it's not a thing.

rothschild, I hope you're not pushing that stupid misinformation to others. A lot of women are not having miscarriages after being vaccinated. Jesus Christ.

RE: ABORTION IN THE UNITED STATES - Maggot - 06-29-2022

Maybe more women will realize that control of their bodies does not begin at pregnancy.

How the hell would you know? Doctors are reporting increased numbers of miscarriages, and cancers are way up since the mRNA vaccinations were rolled out, including many people who were in remission.

You have to be an idiot to trust media outlets that censor everything deemed to be "misinformation". Remember the Pfizer documentation for the studies they did that was going to be released in 50 years? They were sued for freedom of information, successfully. Have you heard a peep about it from the media outlets you rely on? The data re the study they did for children is shocking. More than half of the participants dropped out, and they vaccinated the control group at the end, which is straight up fraud -- but not very surprising given that Pfizer has been fined several times for fraudulent marketing. Again, corporate media pockets billions of dollars in ad revenue from pharma. If that isn't a conflict of interest, nothing is.

They can do an emergency c-section like any other emergency surgery. If the baby is viable and has a chance of living outside of the womb no reputable doctor is going to extract it and kill it, it's just not necessary. I know women who have had life threatening illness during late term pregnancy and the goal is to get the baby out alive quickly as possible, not perform an abortion.

Yeah that damn stress will give you a bad case of the blood clots, facial paralysis and miscarriage.

RE: ABORTION IN THE UNITED STATES - Duchess - 06-30-2022

If there was anything to the vaccine causing miscarriages the whole world would be talking about it. The only people talking about it are conspiracy theorists and those who think they know more than scientists.

RE: ABORTION IN THE UNITED STATES - Duchess - 06-30-2022

The Thomas More Society is a conservative legal organization who are drafting model legislation for state lawmakers that would allow private citizens to sue anyone who helps a resident of a state that has banned abortion from terminating a pregnancy outside of that state.
