The last few pages of this thread contain recaps of legal docs and comments pertaining to the latest in the case.

Here's a quick summary:
-John Clarke, Maytee Clarke and former Toledo PD Lt. Frank Ramirez are all charged with the attempted murder of witness Tiffany Williams back in November 2014.

-Tiffany identified Big John as the trigger man and Maytee as being with him at the time; she also described their vehicle. Police immediately went to the Clarke home after the shooting. Maytee lied to them and said John wasn't home, police found John hiding in the basement, and police arrested John.

-Maytee later filed a motion to suppress the evidence police gathered that night because police didn't have a warrant. The judge denied the motion because a warrant isn't needed when a suspect is assumed to be on the run or presumed to be armed and dangerous, or due to other exigent circumstances.

-Ramirez, the dirty cop, is an old friend of Maytee. Police claim they have evidence that Ramirez conspired with John and Maytee in a plot to kill Tiffany Williams and cover it up.

-All three of the accused are out on bond and are scheduled to be tried together in December 2015.

We're all anxious to see to what extent Maytee's Facebook posts and threats come back to bite her in the ass at trial. She threatened harm to a lot of people on the public Justice page for years, as you recall. Thank you so much Hair of the Dog, and Oh wow!!! I mean, we all kind of knew this could happen. She was totally losing it, but for any of them to try this and think they would not get caught, is just insane and just wow.

On one of the post I just read a few pages back, someone had linked in photos of tattoos that Maytee had posted on her FB page Justice for Johnny and Lisa. The photos were not showing on this site. I tried to visit the actual page and it was no longer on FB. I wondered then what happened to Maytee and if she may have finally ended up in jail or mental facility. Never imagined it would have been for something like this. Not that I did not think she was capable, but she had to know, along with her hubby and the cop- that she would be the FIRST person that they would suspect.

I appreciate you bringing me up to speed. I am going to keep reading. I have to stop myself from replying to some of the post, because some of the things I want to respond to, have probably already been addressed due to the age of the post and I just need to keep reading to get to those replies.

My biggest hope was that the unidentified DNA, may have been identified by now. I would be happy to find out that Karmic Justice caught up with Cameo, and if not, then maybe he has got into enough trouble to put him away for some of his life. People like him slip up eventually, and it is just a matter of time before he commits another crime and gets caught. There is no hope in my eyes that he will ever be anything better than what he is now, and has been, so it is just a matter of time before he ends up in prison for life, or ends up dead from his way of life.

You are right about Cameo, Snoopy.

Cameo Pettaway was found guilty in March, 2013 of felonious assault for the beating of his girlfriend back in October 2012 (just two months after his murder acquittal).

He's serving six years for the assault in Oregon.

The unidentified female DNA has not been matched to anyone, so far as we know. Mocker @Mustang was at the murder trial and took notes -- LE confirmed during the proceedings that they'd run the DNA against all known players in the case.

Sam Williams continues to rot in jail, serving his 2 life sentences.

In January of this year, Williams filed an appeal claiming 10 trial errors. His appeal was denied on all counts.

You are amazing and thank you again! In fact, I think the assault thing with the girlfriend had just happened, and we were all waiting to see where that would that go, when I was pulled away by real life, from the boards.

The sad part about a 6 year sentence is they seldom serve the full amount of time, at least not here where I live in Texas. This does explain one thing I wondered about. when you told me that Maytee and her entourage were accused of attempting to kill Tiffany, my first thought was, "why her and not Cam?", I guess he was locked away beyond their reach.

It is disappointing that nothing came up with the DNA, but eventually, it will all catch up. Someone is going to end up with a felony that requires their DNA to be entered into CODIS, and there will be a match that hits. Or, we can all hope that someone finally comes forth with information that brings other suspects to light, and they match the DNA.

Thank you again so very much! And I was right about waiting to post until I catch up! One of the post that I was tempted to reply to, Sphincter Cop did it for me a few posts later by asking the same question I wanted to ask. My patience paid off. I just have to stay focused till I am current and up-to-date :-)

Okay, I am caught up- and WOW is right! It is not possible for me put everything I want to say in one post, but there are a few things I would like to respond to, that just really stood out.

Please be patient with my typing, grammar, and punctuation, as I am on very strong medications for a chronic illness.

After working on account compromises, and investigations, recovery of those accounts for a very large gaming company for over the past 5 years, I might have a good feel for how it might work, when trying to recover information that was posted on the Facebook accounts, however, what I have learned from my own work experience does not make me an expert on this subject. I would have been considered an expert only for the company I worked for, and other companies may have different procedures, and methods, tools etc.

Deactivating her FB account should not remove any of the information she posted there, but there might be a time limit on how long FB post, are saved. Most companies on the internet will save all chat logs, and for FB that may include posts, for at the minimum, a few months. For gaming companies it would saved on the sever side. Regardless of what the account holder does on their side, it cannot ever be erased unless the information is purged from the server, and only our dev team or others in control of that functionality, would have the ability to do so.

The bad news is, storing information on servers for millions of people can cost a ton of money. Depending on how FB is structured, they may or may not retain that information for a long time. They do seem to be able to keep active accounts and all their post, for years, and maybe forever, the question will be, how long do they keep it for a deactivated account? and none of us can know that unless they work for FB, and those that do, are probably under a Non-disclosure agreement (NDA) so employees would not be able to share that type of information with anyone outside of the company.

As far as the copies of the chat, and screen shots- those cannot be used for any investigations where I come from. They are too easy to manipulate, alter, and can be copy pasted from anywhere, leaving no proof they came from the individual. or the account they are reported to have originated from.

The header of that post is an actual copy, of a copy, of her post from her FB, that has been altered to say what I want. Too easy to manipulate, and with programs like photoshoppe, the possibilities are endless. So there is a good chance that the post from her FB, and the screen shots, cannot be accepted as proof, if they were copied from her account.

We can hope that the archives for FB are at least a year long, because that will be enough time to find sufficient evidence of the threats, and LE has probably been watching her account for a long time anyway, and may have been collecting these threats long before the attack on TW.
A lot will depend on how FB information is saved.
What we do know about FB is that a post can originate from one FB account, and be posted on the page of a different FB account, there is always the hope that any deleted threats made to TW from MC, can be recovered from the account of TW if needed. The tools I worked with allowed us to search chat both accounts, the one that sent it, as well as the receiver of the chat. So, time will tell.
And there is also computer forensics if needed....

There is so much more I would love to elaborate on, but the medications are getting the best of me. There is no way someone is not writing a book about this case, unbelievable.

I know historical social media pages and internet searches/postings have been used as evidence in other criminal cases. It will be interesting to see whether they'll play a part in the case against the Clarkes.

If not, prosecutors still have a strong case against John and Maytee, in my opinion. They've got Tiffany's eye witness identification. And, they'll likely call other witnesses to testify about having been threatened/harassed by the Clarkes after the murder trial (there are police complaints on file, from Zack and his mom - at least).

I don't know what specifically prosecutors have on Frank Ramirez, but I'm very anxious to hear it.

This is very true, and our company ended up having to provide chat logs for more than one criminal case, as well as other things like threats against schools or public officials, It is possible that the prosecutor requests the internal logs to prevent a defense attorney from claiming that they are false, and just wants the hard factual proof if asked to provide it.

Several people I have know decided to deactivate their FB, and when they changed their mind and returned, all of their friends and previous post, were all in there, just as they were when they left.

Also, chat and memes do not require as much storage space on servers, so the cost of storing them for long periods of time would not be as significant as the type of coding and generics that we were required to store for game accounts. If our servers only had chat date to consider, we could probably store that kind of information for years without needing to purge and make more space.
With all this in mind, I still hold faith that FB will be able to provide a better outcome when it comes to recovering this type of information.

And this Ramirez guy assisting in this awful attempt on someones life, WOW- for me that just ruined the integrity of much, if not most, of the prior investigations.

And Defense attorney worth his retainer fee, is probably trying to find out if this cop ever assisted in the criminal investigation of these homicides, or ever had access to any of the evidence, and I will not be surprised if Sam gets a new trial out of this mess.

For someone who is so dedicated to seeking justice for her son and Lisa, she is doing an awful job of it and has probably allowed the one person that has been convicted, a chance to walk free.

How ironic would it be if Sam gets a new trial, is released and Maytee and Big John end up in prison, while he is out running the streets? Good job seeking justice!
When they finally get out for the attempt on TW's life, they can get back to work on trying to catch the other killers, and freeing anyone that has been convicted during the time they were away and locked up. Jeez.

And while I very much share the same exact suspicions that D505 shares in post #23447 I think it is ( lots of notes so not sure if I have the write post number on this) and I too still believe as always that TW may be involved, and may have been luring the kids from the home to pick her up so that the place could be robbed, suspicions are not proof of any guilt. She is innocent of this crime until proven guilty and convicted, and no one has any right to try and kill her.

Thankfully, she walked away with her and was not harmed. She is crucial as a witness when they others are finally identified and put on the stand. And if she does know more about that night, like many of us suspect ,then there is a chance that at some point she might do the right thing and accept a plea bargain for the information that could finally put everyone involved behind bars.
This just speculation and I do not state that anything I have said here is factual.

After reading the post where TW and AC joined together to knock on the door, and beat down the dancer who owed money to AC, I am more suspicious than ever that should is capable of being involved in this homicide, than I ever had been before.

At this point it appears, she is not safe no matter if she snitches or not. It might even be safer for her to tell what she knows, IF she does in fact have any information about what happened that night, and then to change her name, and make a new life somewhere.

If there is not a book that is being written about this case, there sure should be. Unbelievable..

Just a couple thoughts. I think TW is a pig. Johnnty was not the first guy to be killed. Hadn't one of her baby daddy's been murdered too? Maytee IS a lunitic and she knew where the key was in the garage. She had thrown Johnny out and neither he or Lisa could stand her. Good sources have told me that Ramirez is a dirty cop. That is all. Have to get some much needed beauty sleep.

Oh,I forgot to mention that Alexandra Cousino has been on the MOST WANTED list in the Toledo Blade for the last three weeks. I'm fairly sure it's the one that Maytee has on her own most wanted list. The charge is robbery. The photo Maytee has on her FB page and the photo in the Blade look very similiar. I really think it is her. I think AC was very involved in the murders.You can still access her FB page.On FB she has a photo of her and a blondish woman looking like besties. That woman is the widow of our last mayor. I suspect that they were both at my parish festival and that the widow has no clue who Maytee is. The widow would have been at the festival campaigning to replace her her deceased husband as mayor in the Nov election.
