Last night, our remaining guinea pig was making an unhappy squeal with no apparent cause. I told the kids that Rambo was probably dying and they might want to say their goodbyes. I gave him a little pat myself and then went to bed fully expecting to find him dead this morning.
Later, my husband squeezed the little fucker and out popped, ummm, some impactedness. He's fine now.

He had that problem before (took him to the vet that time) but it didn't occur to me that it was the same thing because his symptoms were different (he blew up like a puffer fish). This time he looked sickly kind of skinny. I thought he was a goner.
