That is exactly why when I got my avenger when I lived in florida, I got cloth seats. Before that I had a jeep with leather seats and when I would sit down sometimes I swore id hear a sizzle. Youch! My kids love the heated seats in the morning. The youngest always says he's going to turn both of them on and lie down in the back seat and sleep.

tsk, tsk. I don't think black is dreary! Dramaqueen However, I'd love to have a light color interior but that's so not kid friendly. I looked at one new car that had a light interior and there was a stain on the back of the passenger seat. The salesman explained that the car had been test driven with an 8 y/o in the back. 'Nuff said.

My current car has taupe interior and I still put a towel on the seat if I'm wearing shorts in the summer. It is damn uncomfortable without one.

Who or what is a Baidu? They're always listed as logged in but there's no member here by the name of Baidu.

I must know this.

I always put a towel down on the seat in the summer. Even when I had tan leather seats. The Accord I just traded in had dark grey leather seats and I hated them. My new car has cloth seats and they are so much more comfortable. I miss the ease of cleaning leather but not the sticky hotness.

It's a Chinese search engine.

At the risk of appearing completely stupid, I DON'T GET IT!

I'm reading a book and one guy says to another:

"You know what I'm thinking"?

The response:

"Salad, I hope."

It's supposed to be a joke...HELP ME!! I've been pondering this for 5 minutes and I'm just not getting it! Grrr.

Oh n/m.i guess it's because the guy is fat. Jeebus. Definitely not one of the more clever jokes in the book.

Glen Beck has a new line of jeans and shirts; he claims Levi's company is too socialistic so he's graciously offering the country a more politically correct jeans-wear alternative. Seriously.

I hope CynicalNinja is here for the holidays. I've got a gift certificate to stuff in his stocking. Smiley_emoticons_fies

For real. Even more unbelievable: they sold like hotcakes and went on back order. I kid you not. Wonder if Dick owns a pair?

The product website link isn't in the article I posted. Here it is; shameless Levi's copycat. Haha.

O.M.G.

Classic cut and straight cut? I'm guessing he won't offer boyfriend or flare styles.

I'm hoping for highugging bell-bottoms. That's what Cynical Ninja will be getting.

I'd get him a shirt too, but didn't see any short-armed sizes available (j/k, that was for Cracker).

Ann Coulter is a twat.

RE: the 2012 trivial drivel thread - aussiefriend - 10-26-2012

Just watching her. Have paused it.

RE: the 2012 trivial drivel thread - Duchess - 10-26-2012

Piers Morgan is a twat too.

I have to sometimes pause CNN so that I can fast forward through all their dumbass commercial breaks.

You've probably heard of this but it cracks me up...could she possibly be that dumb?

Good grief the whole town is whipped into a frenzy over the storm. The grocery store is bare. There's flood and wind warnings, but no tropical storm or hurricane warnings I think only bc we aren't coastal. I was going to do christmas shopping this week, I guess maybe ill put it off for now, although 3 hours after hurricane wilma I was shopping at target. I'm undecided. I guess ill wait and see what happens with the electricity.

I heard this on I think BBCworld the other day. That in the US they have 'code words' that people identify with regarding politics. So if I was to come here and talk about certain stuff and I say certain words that make you think I am a republican, then you will listen to what I have to say. The same goes for the other side.

The thing is, I don't subscribe to either side. Because I have my own beliefs and point of view which can range from one extreme to another.

It's difficult only having essentially two sides to choose from. Here in Oz, we have independents and minor parties. I have heard that in Europe they have a vast range of choices. However, they are in a bit of mess at the moment.
