The polls are bullshit. The atmosphere in this country is very charged so people don't want to publicly say what's what. And add to that a media that desperately wants Trump to stay menacing and relevant instead of the doddering joke he is, so they hype him up to sell papers. On top of that, many "so-called" reputable news sources have been quietly bought up by partisan right wing interests in and have become propaganda arms. So it is very difficult to find actual news in this country right now. Or nonpartisan polling.
