Does anyone remember during Obama’s first campaign when Michelle said something along the lines of “…and the U.S. could be better” and she was absolutely slammed for that comment? It was taken as a huge insult to the country at the time. IDK if I could find her exact words but I remember that often and definitely when I read “Make America Great Again” (inferring we’re horrible now and hear Trump refer to cities across the nation as being wrecked or dumps or ruined or whatever the word of the day is.
Random but that huge shift is a little baffling to me.
I don’t care if Trump won and/or the Democrats lost. I’m more bothered if MAGA won because I’m hoping that it’s not a movement that will survive years or decades after Trump is finally out of politics. Vance? Ugh!!
