RE: the 2012 trivial drivel thread - QueenBee - 01-24-2012

When it rains, it fricking pours. Last week we decided mama needed a new recliner, so I started the process to look for one. Then WTF happens? Husband's chair shits the bed..redering it pretty well useless. SO, off we went on Saturday, dropped a wad on two new recliners.
Today, I am minding my own business, planning to wash the dinner dishes. Turn on the water, and BOOM..the whole faucet explodes. Water spraying everywhere. I started screaming like a girl...Rick ran in and I got water turned off. HE, is laughing his ass off. I am dripping weat, crying and swearing at him.
Now neither one of us is limber enough to crawl down under the sink to replace the faucet. So he calls a friend of his. Friend will do it..but cannot come out until Saturday. Tonights dishes getting washed in the bathroom. Next two nights..who knows. Probably bathroom again. Oh well.

Aw, that sucks. Get paper plates and plastic cups and cutlery and just have sandwiches until you fix the faucet. I'm not sure I would eat off plates washed in the bathroom. There is poop in there. Not amount of soap could wash that image away for me. My plates would be tainted for life. I would always think "poop plate".

Ever see the Mythbusters episode about toothbrushes and the bathroom? It will mess with your head. I hide my toothbrush in a drawer to keep it away from poop.

A cow on another site keeps plagiarizing my clever responses and uses them as her own. This is the same bitch who has spent months bleating about me, I trolled her & she has been crying about it since last summer. wah wah wah.

I pop in every few weeks to give her a lil' slap. All I have to do is say hello & her head starts to spin. 113

The shed door blew away the other night and the awning ripped off over my living room window. I have a blue tarp up over the door to the shed, which looks lovely, I can't wait to get fined for it, but the thing is, where the hell did the door go? I searched the whole neighborhood, it's nowhere! After hurricane Charley, I was able to locate my childrens kiddie pool, 6 miles away wrapped up around some tree branches (identifiable by their names painted aaalllll over it). Why can't I locate a SHED DOOR after one night of high winds? Where the hell is it?

That is if I drank. If I did drink it would not be beer. Eww!

I like liquor when I do decide to have a drink.

RE: the 2012 trivial drivel thread - LuciferLynn - 01-25-2012

I like the flavored liquors, but as a rule, I'm a LaBatts girl.

Nantucket Inquirer and Mirror

(Jan. 25, 2012 ) Scott Douglas and Rich St. Pierre vividly remember the wave that threw them from their powerboat off the western shores of Nantucket in August 2008, and the sight of the vessel floating away into the open ocean.
The men survived the ordeal and managed to swim to Esther’s Island where they were rescued by Nantucket marine authorities, but their boat, the Queen Bee, wasn’t seen again. Until now.

More than three years after the harrowing incident, the 26-foot Regulator boat was found across the Atlantic Ocean, drifting off the northern coast of Spain over 3,500 miles from Nantucket.

"We heard this huge roar and looked immediately to our left and there was a huge wave that was cresting and breaking above the top of the boat," said St. Pierre, who was at the helm when the wave struck. "The next thing I knew we were both in the water and the boat was taking off away from us."
Heavily damaged and covered in barnacles, the boat was discovered on Jan. 17 roughly 20 miles off the small port town of Llanes by the Spanish Coast Guard. Towed to shore, the boat still had “Nantucket” scrawled on the side and its two outboard motors remained attached. Using the registration number, the U.S. Coast Guard and the Massachusetts Environmental Police were able to confirm it was indeed the same one that was lost by the two men southwest of Smith’s Point on the Bonita Bar at dusk on Aug. 25, 2008.

“I had definitely given up,” said Douglas, 58, when asked if he thought he would ever see the Queen Bee again. “I missed the boat, but we were so happy we lived to talk about it, and if it had to be sacrificed, that was fine.”
St. Pierre, who still owns his home on Nantucket, said he was shocked when he heard the Coast Guard had called to inform him and Douglas that the boat had been found 1,241 days after the incident.

“You wouldn’t think it would ever happen,” said St. Pierre. “The question everyone asks you is, ‘what happened to the boat?’ It’s just such a weird feeling. It’s got a good ending and it’s nice to have some closure to it. I’d love to know what happened to it over those three-and-a-half years.”
The U.S. Coast Guard suspects the Queen Bee drifted away from Nantucket into the Gulf Stream and then north into the North Atlantic current, according to Art Allen, of the Coast Guard’s Office of Search and Rescue.

Spanish media reports indicated that the vessel also still contained a first-aid kit, fire extinguishers, a radio and maps of the U.S. East Coast.

I took a long trip to Nantucket,

and secretly thought oh well, fuck it,

We saw the dead whales

And skies full of gales,

And immediately took Nantucket off my bucket.

Georgia is thinking about a new law that forgives a one-time DUI, including taking it off your record, if you don't commit ANY other offenses for five years, including traffic offenses.

I think it is a good idea. If you fuck up once, but keep your nose perfectly clean after that for five years, you deserve a second chance. It is harder to find a job with a DUI on your record.

If you get two DUIs, tough shit.

Ah yea, no. That is a stupid law. If people don't know by now not to drink and drive then they deserve what they get. I see first hand what can happen when a person drinks and drives and gets into an accident. Right now I have a file where our insured was driving and he was hit and killed by a drunk driver. His wife was also in the car and sustained some pretty serious injuries. But nothing can compare to the pain she is in from losing her husband and having to raise their children alone.

There is no forgiveness if you don't drive drunk again. That's bullshit. What happens when they get their second DUI in 6 years? Do they go back and put the first one back on your record? I'm sorry but if you are stupid enough to drink and drive, you have to pay the consequence. Just like any other crime.

My ex husband has had six DUI's. He's a raging out of control alcoholic. Why someone didn't lock him up and throw away the key years ago is something I'll never understand. Of course, they were never his fault. Someone set him up, they changed the speed limit on the road, there was never a stop sign there before...you get the idea. The whole damn world was out to get him when all he's doing is trying to live his life.

PA has a program here where your first DUI is expunged from your record if you take a zillion classes and do all this shit. I firmly believe you should LEARN from your mistakes, not repeat them. One means you fucked up. Two means you're a retard.

I just read that trolling is anti-social behavior.

Where do people get this shit? Trolling is FUN.
