Relief should be here Saturday. I've been worried about my garden as the plants look droopy, I water them every day but they don't grow so well with this heat.

Yeah some teen fainted from the heat at the Plaza yesterday. Supposedly there were cooling/misting stations to help with that but I never found them, I guess the teen didn't either.

For sure, without a doubt. It's the humidity that makes it insufferable. I break into a sweat just walking to my car and then I stick my face in front of the AC vent so my mascara doesn't melt off.

Just got back from a nice resort on the water in San Diego. Had a busted hose bib pipe, we were gone for three days and don't know how long it was going. 108 today so it's important to get the water flowing again!

No, I live on the dry side. I live in the central part of the state now. It isn't as green as the west side of the state.

It's hot, so fucking hot. Everyday. The earth is baking, we need rain badly. The grass has gone dormant, leaves are turning brown and falling from trees, my driveway looks sorta like it does in late Fall when the trees drop their leaves. The leaves on the corn in the fields have begun to roll up and I see other crops turning brown in the fields. It's awful. Even the pool isn't really refreshing, the water is warm. When my air comes on in the dark before dawn you know it's damn hot.

It's hot as fuck here and has been for weeks. The weather people said we are starting a heat wave today and I couldn't help but wonder what the hell they thought we've been in. It's miserable outdoors and I look forward to 20 degree temps with blowing wind. Yeah.
