Good news! Guilty on all counts. Didn't take the jury long to get it right.
Hoping the prosecutors also get the sentencing they desire. Seacat deserves it, or worse, imo.
The verdict came about 3 p.m. after roughly six hours of deliberation Tuesday. Seacat, 37, was also convicted of aggravated arson and two counts of child endangerment linked to the April 30, 2011, death of 34-year-old Vashti Seacat and a fire that destroyed the couple’s house while their young sons were inside.
Prosecutors are asking for the "Hard 50" sentence, which is life without parole for 50 years.

Judge Solomon scheduled Seacat's sentencing for August 5.
The convicted murderer is now facing life in prison, but it will be up to Solomon as to whether Seacat will ever be eligible for parole.
Solomon will sentence Seacat to life in prison without parole or life in prison with the possibility of parole after 50 years. Seacat would be 87 years old before he could possibly be eligible for parole.
