What if these two high school graduates aspire to become pediatricians and their families have no money for school.

They have 3 options:
1. Work for minimum wage during the day, struggle to pay for a couple of classes per semester plus books (or have to take out sudent loans), and spend 5 years getting to their Bachelor's Degrees.
OR
2. Work at the Gentlemen and Ladies Clubs (in revealing uniforms) as cocktail servers - making 5 times as much money in salary + tips, take 4 classes during the day per semester (paid in cash as they go), and earn their Bachelor's degrees in 2.5 years with no debt.
OR
3. Scope out and hook up with rich partners to pay their ways.
Is Option 1 the only viable option to avoid degradation, in your opinion?

HoTD, ever heard of scholarships? Yes and if you have to work for minimum wage, do what you have to do. You do not need to degrade yourself to get there, ever (this is what the majority of the population does). With some of this shady shit, it comes back to bite them on the arse and ruins their careers that they spent so much money on.
I can't see what your questions about study and prostitution have to do with her little 'experiment'. She is hardly an academic.

Why yes, my friend aussie, I have heard of scholarships. Not everybody qualifies for them and not all of them cover the majority of costs.
There was no prostitution involved in any of the options, though I think option 3 comes closest (it comes close to some marital motivators too, so...).
My questions relate to your judgment and condemnation of Andrea - I was jumping off of your strong reaction because it made me curious about your view of "degradation" and your assumptions about Andrea. "Degraded" is highly subjective

She is not doing any legitimate research or scientific 'experiment'. Her behaviour was nothing more than an antisocial offensive display of human behaviour at its worst.
First of all, when you engage in research that includes an experiment, the first thing you must obtain from your participants is consent. Otherwise it is unethical and not legitimate, just like her experiment. It is seen as adverse and harmful to all included. Which is consequently was. It brought others into shame and disrepute and angered innocent members of the community. As a taxpayer you should be offended, because your taxpayer dollars were spent on the stupid bitch as law enforcement were called and there would be a cost associated with that too.
There is nothing legitimate about that study. No academic institution would associate themselves with such a debarcle. If she is enrolled in any academic institution anywhere on the planet, I would expect that she would be expelled instantly.Then she can progress and ask people for real whether they want to have sex with her........for money.
HoTD I am surprised at you, you don't need to be Gloria Steinem to see that she is degrading herself and misrepresenting women, more than that US women (she filmed it and now it's out there, this magnifies the effect). She would need to inform the participants that she was conducting an experiment and ask would they mind being lab rats.
