I just took this one today of my ankle. I can't get the others because I'm not a contortionist and some would require nudity I'm not willing to share.
But you can see where this should be a nice black it is faded and somewhat blotchy from the sun. All my ink needs touch up bit that will cost a ton of cash to do.

I took this today of my ankle. You can see how it's faded from the sun. It should be dark black but it's starting to get blotchy and needs touch up.

What is the difference in sensation between ink on the rest of your body compared to on your ankle? I've been kicking around an idea for my ankle, but have heard anything from it hurts no differently from any other, to that is the most excruciating place to put ink.
What say you, Ant?

The groin by far is the most excruciating. The ankle was cake. The back is the least painful. My hand was moderate and healed the fastest.
My forearm was moderately painful too. That too also healed up fast. My shoulder where your arrowhead was a cakewalk and healed up really fast.
I also cheat..... I get most of my ink in summer and go to the beach to help heal it! Salt water is a wonderful tonic for aches, pains and wounds.

Is there some kinda stigma to getting a tattoo on ones lower back ?...Seriously...'Cuz thats whereI was considering having mine put...On the outsidehip area, lower back like....If thats going to attach some kind of label to me I'd reconsider the area.

Ok this is the tramp stamp.
I want a tattoo to cover the foot long scar on my back and it will entail the lower back but I might make it a continuation of the tribals I have on my groin/legs/hips combo - just blend it all into one big one and then it will go up my neck to the front to cover the scars there.
I just need to make sure I'm done with surgeries before I got cutting up expensive ink.
Just get the one on your hip off to the side and truly on your hip and not your ass crack. Beware, it will be painful on the hip but the pain stops as soon as the needles do.

The ankle was not that painful, only a little over by the bone. Here is another of mine in that area
