They take vacations instead of paying the mortgage I wish I had the answer to that. I can't imagine not paying my bills, I'd be so concerned with my credit rating taking a dive, that matters to me & I protect it by being responsible. Panderers and fear mongers selling their cure to the masses to accomplish their ambitions. It's a commodity. Just look at the money spent and the media used to "sell" their cure. No more Mr. Smith goes to Washington. Funny, how much money these pricks raise and spend on themselves instead of giving it to those they claim "need our help". Hypocrites! And folks just keep buying and buying and buying. RE: Did you vote? - Cracker - 11-02-2010 (11-02-2010, 02:21 PM)Duchess Wrote: People are leaving houses here left and right. They are relocating for jobs and just leaving if the house doesn't sell. There is some loophole for the credit thing I think, not sure. Maybe they are all doing short sales. I guess they figure their bad credit will be gone in 7 years but they are stuck with a house payment for 30+ plus years. I know a lady that just refinanced to a 38 year loan. She is 35. Who wants to still be paying for a house when you are old as shit? If people would just buy what they can afford in the first place, it makes life so much easier. It would be much easier to rent out an affordable house if you had to move than try to sell an overpriced house. Just because the bank will give you money doesn't mean you should take it. All these interest-only people are also meeting Jesus about now. They figured out how screwed they really are. I look for it to get worse before it gets better. Financial collapse screws everybody, whether you pay your bills or not. We will be paying their bills now. Our reward for being responsible. Banks in some areas of Florida just stopped repossessing because they had so many properties. They tell people to just keep it on the market to sell. They don't want the property back. That is freaking scary. RE: Did you vote? - Lady Cop - 11-02-2010 seems the Bay State is enjoying a HUGE voter turnout (yes i did). Mass. is the home of more sleazy hack pols and highly-paid coatholders than anyplace else i can think of. usually our office-holders are A. related or B. designated as "the defendant". these are our candidates for Governor...GOP Charlie Baker (on the left). and incumbent Gov.Patrick (D) who i hope will be out on his ass before he manages to completely deplete state coffers by throwing large wads of money to illegals and deadbeats. YOU CAN USE YOUR WELFARE DEBIT CARD TO BUY BOOZE AND LOTTERY TIX HERE! WHOOHOOO :B the Herald: "Much is at stake in the election in Massachusetts and across the country as some predict Republicans could take over the House of Representatives, and Baker is running neck and neck with Patrick in a closely watched race that’s regarded as a bellwether for President Obama." it's not called Taxachusetts for nothing. You asked MF and you are calling me an idiot? That's rich. Who cares about the opinions of others when you vote? We have a secret ballot system in America. You should not waste your time, and the people behind you, in line today. Maybe your mommy board can help you in 2012. RE: Did you vote? - chico - 11-02-2010 Count me in. I voted. Here's to a great day. RE: Did you vote? - username - 11-02-2010 I can't wait to be done with all the mailers, commercials, phone calls and local candidates hanging out in front of Safeway to shake hands and ask for my vote. I tried watching CNN for awhile today and it's non-stop election coverage. Blurg. Just shut up and tell me the results when it's over, please. RE: Did you vote? - Cracker - 11-02-2010 I'm going to be super pissed if my county voted ourselves another tax hike. Georgia has these things called LOSTs (Local Option Sales Tax). Not only do we pay property tax and ad valorem tax and sales tax and all the other bs taxes people pay, we sometimes vote ourselves in 1-3% more sales tax to pay for capital outlay projects that we really can't afford to build or maintain in the first fucking place. The polls in the end of the county getting all the improvements are slammed. My side, not so much. Fuck. RE: Did you vote? - sally - 11-02-2010 I don't vote. None of the tax cuts or breaks are going to make or break me and I don't have the time or the will to educate myself on the candidates. Honestly, I just don't give a shit lol. RE: Did you vote? - IMaDick - 11-02-2010 I voted, I have not missed a chance to vote since I was 18, Sally screw you, get the fuck out of my country. Every vote, whomever it is for, is a ratification of the established order. It implies that the voter approves of the system and will abide by its results.
