How do you decide who you "like" online? That's an odd question. It's not like you know these people (at least not in the Biblical sense like Maggot and LC). Do you think people let their real personality slip out in their posts?
I can usually tell in a few posts whether I am going to bother with someone.

I think Dick's real personality is probably opposite of his internet persona. He adopts stray, blind animals, he feeds the homeless at Christmas--I think at minimum he's "nice" but I think it goes beyond that. I think Dick is, at heart, a pussy and I bet Mrs. Dick rules their household with an ironhand. I think Dick's aggressive attitude here is just a feeble attempt to regain some sense of manliness and control in the sunset of his life.
