Thanks a bunch. [Image: icon_nutkick.gif]

Did you listen to the video I posted? Can you play that?

The one about the farmers market and food and stuff from the farmers? Was that you? hah

Nevermind, I just found it Chris Issak right? Thats kinda easy. Its a basic bass riff. His voice sets it up there though. I find many good songs are basic and wonder at the genius of putting it all together. Phil Spector was great at it.

No. I had always flown for work & pleasure before then & that day was an in my face reminder that I would have no control over any situation that could arise up there & I thought about the sheer terror those passengers must have felt, I was never again comfortable flying.

I think of that terror too, but don't dwell on it. I knew one of the passengers that went down with the plane in PA.

You might want to look elsewhere for the source of your fears.

Thankfully, or I suspect most of us would be mocking together around an eternal campfire at some point.

Speaking of lust, where's Dick? Maybe he's practicing that Chris Issak song for you, Duchess?
It's kind of a lustful song. 109 109 109 109 109 109 109 109 109 109

He wasn't home from work yet when you posted this.

Is it too weird that I know his evening schedule during the week? 50

My imagination is the source. It's all in my head.

RE: YOU'RE GOING TO DIE - cannongal - 03-31-2012

I fear pain more than death-

I guess my family is morbid, but I remember being brought to funerals at a young age.

My family is the type that hugs the body in the casket, leaves trinkets and letters in with 'em, and then throws the "Mercy Meal" at the local VFW Hall where everybody gets faced. I hope my kids will do the same for me.

RE: YOU'RE GOING TO DIE - JsMom - 03-31-2012

I don't fear death. To me, it's just another part of life. On top of the fact, I have a handsome little man awaiting my arrival. Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

I worry about my daughters mortality a lot more than my own, I occassionally have nightmares about it I think thats why I can be overprotective of her.

hah You'll be able to get your AARP discounts, honey. I'm sure of that. I do fear burning to death, though.

So do I and I don't think it gets better untill they move out and have their own kids.

RE: YOU'RE GOING TO DIE - JsMom - 03-31-2012

Even then we will still worry about our children.

It doesn't stop then...and after you have grand-kids, it gets worse.

RE: YOU'RE GOING TO DIE - Midwest Spy - 03-31-2012

Obviously, I could be wrong, but I believe I'll live well into my 80's (not that the quality of life at that age can be good). Just a gut feeling.

I don't obsess about dying at all. I mean, sure it crosses my mind, but I think with children in the picture, you're so busy just making it day to day, that you don't stop to consider your mortality.

I worry more about living the right way: not wanting to bang every pretty woman I encounter, not swearing so much, being a good husband, good father, etc.

Is that something you struggle with everyday? Do you watch her ass as she walks away? Do you think about the size of her breasts before you see the color of her eyes? Did you get a woody on the beach while vacationing? Is your wife aware you have a roving eye?

And is she attractive or is she a beast? Don't lie.

RE: YOU'RE GOING TO DIE - ramseycat - 04-01-2012

I have been thinking about it more lately with my brother being ill. He is only 50 and is SO needed here and I don't want him to die anytime soon. However, it's something I have to try and come to terms with as it is a possibility it could be sooner rather than later. I DO NOT want to accept it.

A lady I work with just lost her 18 year old son a month or so ago in a motorcycle accident. He was screwing around and hit an SUV. She came back to work last week and we happened to be leaving at the same time a few days and I have never seen such pain in someone's face before. She just looked broken. Just looking at her made me hurt so bad for her. I wanted to reach out and hug her and take that pain away even though I know that there is nothing that ever will. Of course we just walked out and said have a good night but it made me think about what I would do if I lost one of my kids. I don't think I would ever recover.

As for being afraid of dying myself? I am not afraid to die. I am not ready to though. But when it's my time, it's my time.
