- The Antagonist - 05-20-2009 Well the conversation we just had here is exactly the pain in the ass shit that made me decide that a laptop would be easier to use and cheaper too and get me the same results. I just saw an ad on tv that HP makes a teeny tiny thing for about $200. Perfect for sticking in the handbag and not being too inconvenienced if I wanted to take it with me anyplace. But all that is for next year. - Middle Finger - 05-20-2009 This technical bullshit is ruining my Mother Fuck thread. - Duchess - 05-20-2009 Middle Finger Wrote:This technical bullshit is ruining my Mother Fuck thread. You started it. - Middle Finger - 05-20-2009 Duchess Wrote:Middle Finger Wrote:This technical bullshit is ruining my Mother Fuck thread. You started it. I know, sweetheart, but I want it to end on topic. The topic was about mother fucks or something like that. I feel as though it is ruined now and I am sad. - Duchess - 05-20-2009 Middle Finger Wrote:I know, sweetheart, but I want it to end on topic. Would some hooters cheer you up, Darling ? - Luke Warmwater - 05-20-2009 That's just about the right size for his dick to fit between. - Middle Finger - 05-20-2009 Yes, that always works! You know me so well! - Maggot - 05-20-2009 I Fuck a mother on a regular basis, they are hot, hot, hot. - D - 05-20-2009 The Antagonist Wrote:Well the conversation we just had here is exactly the pain in the ass shit that made me decide that a laptop would be easier to use and cheaper too and get me the same results. You mean something like this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220441 - The Antagonist - 05-21-2009 Smaller and cheaper. It's not even on their site yet. - D - 05-21-2009 Smaller? Why would you want smaller than an 8" screen?? (Well, 8.9, but hell...) Ick! That would put it in a different category. Called "Ultra Mobile PCs." Whereas the one I just showed you is a "Netbook". UMPCs can get down to the 3" screen size. No thank you. Especially since their CPUs are slow. Back to late P-II/early P-III speeds. Who the hell wants a modern computer to have only 400Mhz (0.4GHz)??? I'd at least want the thing to be able to run an office suite without bogging down. The Asus I showed you can. The UMPCs I've seen can't. For example (The 400MHz one): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16858618003 Whereas the Asus Netbook I showed you has a much larger screen size, a 1.6GHz CPU and 1GB of RAM, WITH a 160GB HDD. While the little UMPCs have VERY little RAM, 128MB in the case of the above, and virtually no HDD space. In fact the one above requires you to use Flash memory cards (SD format) in order to have space. Now, this is not to say that HP hasn't taken a step in another direction, but until I see it, I'll reserve judgment. Just be aware of what you're getting yourself into. Because IMHO, an 8-9 inch screened Netbook would be a much better option for you. And its still tiny and lightweight and will fit in a purse. And the capability difference is easily worth another $100 or so. Edit: Oh yeah, and we can take this discussion to email if you'd like some more comparison and my professional opinion more (once you find it on HPs website, or get me the model number). |
