A little different in that they knew that had the right location AND the guy had threatened law enforcement previously. Scumbag waited for them and knew exactly what he was doing. Shame he didn't get the death penalty.

my point really was that a deputy/police officer cannot wait around to discuss it when someone appears with a gun aimed at them.

You know I'm a supporter of LEO's... so I don't disagree with the above at all.

They can however wait around to make sure they are in the right place, which was my point.
