Great topic as I just returned from three days of training (P.O.S.T.) Active Shooter/ Terrorism class. My thumb is still sore from constantly reloading my magazines (LadyCop knows the feeling.
Lots of shooting and tons of roleplaying out at the Sheriff's training facility in Otay Mesa (right next door to Donovan State prison!).
What I learned quickly is unless it becomes somewhat instinctive the extra strength adrenaline that will be coursing through your veins at the time of this type of scenario will prevent you from responding with any precision and accuracy. And, as we all know- that is exactly what is required to handle a firearm.

Otay Mesa is almost as lovely as San Marcos. Except it's hotter, dryer, has more prisons and is closer to sunny Mexico.

The biggest distinction is San Marcos has a CinemaPlex that houses like, I don't know, eighteen different theaters.
Otay Mesa has an AM/PM along highway 905 that employes like, I don't know, eighteen various illegals*.
*And not a single one of them knows how to brew fresh coffee.
