Truth is it was originally going to be a Nature show and was to be called "Wally and the Beaver". Like others of its kind, Timmy and Lassie, Gentle Ben, Flipper, Rusty and Rin Tin Tin, Jerry Mathers was the animal side-kick for Wally. That all changed when (like Michael Jackson) they couldn't keep the little guys nose from falling off.

hah

That made me laugh too, Zero.

Beaver-face Beaver looks like he could be a distant cousin to Eddie Munster (or the model for his doll).

Thanks HairOfTheDog, I see a family resemblance here also.

^ It does look like a family album (or maybe an evolution chart). Smiley_emoticons_smile

Just one family member missing: Dan Haggerty/Grizzly Adams. I like bigger men and facial hair, but Mr. Haggerty had two normal head's worth of hair on his face. (I like his style anyway.)

Great teeth and a smile to match

Fur face.

I don't like how the Bev de-volved into this depraved trapezoid weird world of stupidity. On my days off I watch the re-runs and well it's just horrible.

My dad controlled the TV. I had to watch leave it to beaver, Andy Griffith, all in the family, Bob Newhart, Barney miller, Mash and football. I like them all except football. Oh and the Beverly hillbillies. Sometimes we'd watch the Munsters if I was lucky.

My favorite Andy Griffith was "citizens arrest". If you haven't seen it, youtube it. It's hilarious. Barney mocks Gomer saying "citizens arrest, citizens arrest". I thought it was funny when I was a kid and it's still funny now.

My favorite is the one where Andy and Opie eat Aunt Bea's horrible tasting pickles to prevent her from entering them in a contest and she keeps making more.

That was a funny one too. When they brought Goober into the show that's when it started to suck.

I did not realize beavers were aggressive either. THO since I cannot see the video anymore I may never know!

RE: Beaver kills man - Duchess - 05-22-2022

I saw a baby beaver the other day and it was so stinkin' cute. ALL baby animals are cute, even the ones with a face only a mother could love.
