There is a terrible hurricane coming ashore on the Gulf coast. It's being said it's the worst one since Katrina and the surge will spread 30 miles or more inland. The National Weather Service is calling it an unsurvivable surge. I'm not seeing much being reported on this. WTF.
...and California is on fire.
