Yes, more than once because I wouldn't form the letters of the alphabet properly. That's my biggest memory from grade school, that and Michele being spanked because we dared her to do the happy dance on top of her desk.

This mini van in front of me earlier had a sticker that said "I'm only speeding because I have to poop really bad." I wonder if that works.

RE: the 2014 trivial drivel thread - Duchess - 03-23-2014

That's not cute or funny.

As I read that, I thought you were going to say the sticker said:

I'm speeding because the NUNS are chasing me! hah

hah silly

Well, she had 3 "minor" surgeries all at once and they all went well except the bump on her eye. She had this little bump in the outer corner of her eyelid and we were advised to have it removed and biopsied. Turns out the lump went way deeper than expected and the doctor had to cut muscles and move her eyeball around and stuff to get the damn thing out. She woke up crying and didn't stop for two full days. Major corneal abrasions. The other two were a 2 12 inch cut on her arm to remove a mole and the scars remaining from it after 3 attempts to get rid of the damn thing by freezing it off and a 12 inch incision to remove a piece of pencil lead that was stuck in her thigh. The last two were considered cosmetic so we got to pay for them out of pocket. Weeeeeeeee.

She's better but she was basically blind over the weekend. We shared the vicodin as a result. One for you, one for me...

Jsmom, best wishes for your dad!

Good to "see" you, FU!

My low self-esteem/low body image daughter just got some new bras yesterday. She usually wears baggy clothes so I had no idea what size to get her but she said she think she needed a 34D. I was like "yeah, right" but I bought her a few and she needed my help getting tags off this morning. The damn things fit! I told her to disregard everything I've been telling her about dressing a little more nicely and getting rid of the loose sweats and just to stay in the baggy clothes. Really, slightly fitted clothes are over rated...just be comfortable for chrissake.

44 Great news.

RE: the 2014 trivial drivel thread - ramseycat - 03-27-2014

That's great JS. I know how worried you were.

How can a piece of pencil lead in her thigh be cosmetic User? You should fight that.
