The only damn cranberry recipe I know of is LC's
CLASSIC CRANBERRY NUT BREAD
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
3⁄4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
2 tablespoons shortening
1 egg, well beaten
1 1⁄2 cups fresh Cranberries, coarsely chopped
1⁄2 cup chopped nuts (i use walnuts)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium mixing bowl. Stir in orange juice, orange peel, shortening and egg. Mix until well blended. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Spread evenly in loaf pan.
Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely. Wrap and store overnight. Makes 1 loaf (16 slices).

Wood chips soaking, dropping the big bird in the smoker bout midnight.
Lots of work, but worth every minute
Oh, the Clos DuBois Beaulolais Nouveau sux this year, but the Rochecorbier is Quite Tasty.

Wow, what a feed.
Only had 15 show, fed the hell out of them and sent them all home with a cars package.
Leftovers in the fridge, both dishwashers running, inside kitchen is all clean. Outside one will take some work tomorrow to put everything away and the like. Was nice having everyone here.
Most of tomorrow will be spent learning my SUP, see if I can't drown myself

Nothing went horribly wrong here, either. Just had two guests, but it was fun. Had my husband take the bird out of the oven, or I would have dropped him. Next year we get a bigger bird, I think. Just for the leftovers. I have a smaller turkey in the freezer for Christmas, as it will just be the two of us.
I do kind of miss the big family gatherings, but the small ones are OK too.

Usually when I cook a big meal I never sit down and eat a big plate with everyone else, I just take a little bite here and there to make sure everything tastes good. Well today I made myself a plate and if my family has anything to be thankful for it's me. I'm freaking amazing.

For once, I didn't fall asleep with my plate of food on my lap. It almost never fails, I spend all day cooking...then when it's over, I just want to sleep.
