RE: Try and solve this..... - Fibonacci Prima - 03-22-2011 How about...shoot one of the guards, take up his uniform, wait for some stupid dipshit to come along, try, and fail, then take the proper door? Crude, but effective. Have you ever in your life answered any questions on your own? I gave you all the info you needed to solve the problem, don't blame me if you couldn't do it. I even showed you the logic, all you could see is that both had the same answer. I posted a link to the website because I knew OP would never admit that there was more than one question that could be asked to produce the correct door. No googling. This logic question is older than both of you, it's been around a long time, long enough for other correct answers to have been developed. Quote: Logic not your strong point is it dipshit? RE: Try and solve this..... - IMaDick - 03-22-2011 Now I get to laugh at OP and op jr, both retards. RE: Try and solve this..... - Cracker - 03-22-2011 It's not a new logic problem. Labyrinth was made in the 80's. RE: Try and solve this..... - Cracker - 03-22-2011 Do this one: The Hardest Logic Puzzle in the World A group of people with assorted eye colors live on an island. They are all perfect logicians -- if a conclusion can be logically deduced, they will do it instantly. No one knows the color of their eyes. Every night at midnight, a ferry stops at the island. Any islanders who have figured out the color of their own eyes then leave the island, and the rest stay. Everyone can see everyone else at all times and keeps a count of the number of people they see with each eye color (excluding themselves), but they cannot otherwise communicate. Everyone on the island knows all the rules in this paragraph. On this island there are 100 blue-eyed people, 100 brown-eyed people, and the Guru (she happens to have green eyes). So any given blue-eyed person can see 100 people with brown eyes and 99 people with blue eyes (and one with green), but that does not tell him his own eye color; as far as he knows the totals could be 101 brown and 99 blue. Or 100 brown, 99 blue, and he could have red eyes. The Guru is allowed to speak once (let's say at noon), on one day in all their endless years on the island. Standing before the islanders, she says the following: "I can see someone who has blue eyes." Who leaves the island, and on what night? There are no mirrors or reflecting surfaces, nothing dumb. It is not a trick question, and the answer is logical. It doesn't depend on tricky wording or anyone lying or guessing, and it doesn't involve people doing something silly like creating a sign language or doing genetics. The Guru is not making eye contact with anyone in particular; she's simply saying "I count at least one blue-eyed person on this island who isn't me." And lastly, the answer is not "no one leaves." RE: Try and solve this..... - Maggot - 03-22-2011 They all leave. On Friday night. RE: Try and solve this..... - IMaDick - 03-22-2011 The rules didn't change, the only ones who left are the ones who had figured out their own eye color and they didn't leave until the next day after midnight. RE: Try and solve this..... - Fibonacci Prima - 03-22-2011 Everyone on the first, third and eighth row, on a tuesday night. It was a dark and stormy night, with a full moon hidden behind angry clouds. A lone beagle types away in the distance. A light warming a small patch of grass beneath his window. He watches briefly as islanders file one by one past his home, to whatever new lands they are off to explore and inhabit. He wonders as they walk by in the dark, dark night, "What color eyes do they have, and why are they walking in the damn rain?" RE: Try and solve this..... - Cracker - 03-22-2011 Girl, if you don't drink, you are batshit crazy. hahahaha RE: Try and solve this..... - Maggot - 03-22-2011 (03-22-2011, 05:36 PM)Fibonacci Prima Wrote: Everyone on the first, third and eighth row, on a tuesday night.
