Well . . . we've got another wildfire burning in AZ.

The Wallow fire is the big one, illegally crossing the border into New Mexico.

Now, the bright boys of the Forest Circus have named the NEW fire the Willow fire. Genius!

They have also determined that all of these fires were "man made".

No race or nationality (of the perps) has been officially identified.

This is so tragic.

Massive wildfires in eastern Arizona that have scorched 250,000 acres were probably started by Mexican drug traffickers or human smugglers, an Arizona sheriff told Fox News on Wednesday.

During a televised interview on Fox News, Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever said the most recent blaze -- the so-called Monument Fire -- was "man-caused" and began about a week ago near Coronado National Forest, where the border fence ends. Dever said the 4,700-acre park had been closed for days prior to the start of the fire.

Mexican Drug Smugglers to Blame for Arizona Wildfire?

Sheriff responds to McCain's comments

"The bottom line is, there was nobody in the park [who] would've been there legally," Dever said. "There were no vehicles, no nothing. It's a high-intensity drug trafficking and human smuggling area. We have scouts that hang out there all the time. They light signal fires, they light warming fires because it gets cold at night … There is nothing to indicate that there was any other cause. And the highest probability -- not possibility -- is that this is how this fire started."

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services released the names of two firefighters of the Division of Forestry who were killed yesterday. Dead are 31-year old Josh Burch, of Lake City and 52-year old Brett Fulton, of White Springs. Both lost their lives while fighting the Blue Ribbon Fire in Hamilton County.
“The wildfires have ravaged our state, burning more than 200,000 acres, and now, they have taken the lives of two of our very own men,” said Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam. “My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of Josh Burch and Brett Fulton, two courageous heroes who sacrificed their lives for the safety of others.”
Burch, 31, was a Forest Ranger who lived in Lake City with his wife and two children. He worked with the Division of Forestry for more than ten years. Fulton, 52, began as a professional welder with the Division 12 years ago. He has been a Forest Ranger with the Department for more than nine years. Fulton leaves behind a wife and two grown children in White Springs.

RIP heroes

wow.

LOS ALAMOS, N.M. -- Firefighters worked through the night and into Tuesday hoping to put out spot fires erupting ahead of a wildfire in the mountains above the northern New Mexico town that is home to a government nuclear laboratory.

"That's the biggest threat we have right now to homes in the community," Deputy Los Alamos County Fire Chief Mike Thompson said late Monday of the fires that left hillsides above the town of Los Alamos glowing.

The ominous orange haze was visible at night from deserted Trinity Drive in Los Alamos, from which 12,500 residents were evacuated. The evacuation was so calm and orderly that there wasn't even a traffic accident, Police Chief Wayne Torpy said.

A crew that had been working at the Arizona wildfires took over efforts at the New Mexico fire Monday, about 18 hours after the blaze started. It has quickly grown to 44,000 acres -- or 68 square miles -- and ignited a spot fire on lab property.

Another firefighting team was expected to arrive Tuesday because of the potential for the blaze to more than double in size.

Tiki, you can have that desert! hah

PHOENIX – A massive dust storm descended on the Phoenix area on Tuesday night, drastically reducing visibility and delaying flights as strong winds toppled trees and caused power outages for thousands of residents in the valley.

The towering dust cloud that hit the area had originated in an afternoon storm in the Tucson area before moving north across the desert, said National Weather Service meteorologist Paul Iniguez. Before bearing down on the Phoenix valley, radar data showed the storm's wall of dust had reached as high as 8,000 to 10,000 feet, he said.

Huge Habbob, last night.

Visibility about 20 feet for almost two hours.

Lightning and thunder that made any fireworks display look puny.

And less than a 10th of an inch of rain! hah

The dust may only have just settled on the last freak weather phenomenon to hit Arizona.

But yesterday a third giant dust cloud in less than two months rolled over Phoenix, causing widespread disruption.

The wall of dust blanketed the city on Thursday, turning the sky brown, creating dangerous driving conditions and delaying some airline flights.

The dust storm, also known as a haboob, swept through Pinal County and headed northeast, reaching Phoenix at about 6pm.

RE: TIKI! TIKI! TIKI! - BlueTiki - 08-20-2011

But no effin' rain!

Dammit!

Snapped a mature Sissoo of mine, like a matchstick.

All the new plantings survived, albeit, a little bare from whipping winds and heat.

Dick's dick has an aversion to fat women.

RE: TIKI! TIKI! TIKI! - Fibonacci Prima - 08-20-2011

Why do black women have such ginormous asses?! And is there an ass-attitude connection? Cuz it seems the bigger the ass, the more bitchy they are. Is that where the bitch gland is?
