RE: Presidential race 2016 - HairOfTheDog - 09-17-2015 Don't be sorry, F.U. I know you love your Hillary memes. Anyway, I don't expect it to make a difference to you. It makes a difference to me because I don't support mass deportations, birth right citizenship revoking, and immigration reforms based on fear-mongering false rhetoric. Just like I don't support vaccination reforms based on fear-mongering false rhetoric. Vaccines do not cause autism. Just about every possible unbiased small and large scale medical research project has been conducted and ruled out a correlation between vaccine ingredients (or vaccine spacing) and autism. Medical professionals conclude that there could be a host of both genetic and environmental factors contributing to increase autism rates, which they're exploring. But they are able to look at the vaccines themselves and show there is no association with autism. I don't care if vaccine doses are spread out, though there are some risks associated with the extra waiting period. But, using bullshit to peddle a change in policy is, well, bullshit. RE: Presidential race 2016 - F.U. - 09-17-2015 Actually I do support kicking all their asses out. They want to live here do it the right way. I don't care how or why they go, just git. RE: Presidential race 2016 - F.U. - 09-17-2015 And I don't just like HRC memes. RE: Presidential race 2016 - F.U. - 09-17-2015 I like memes of all types. They make me smile. So it was ok that they snuck into our country and live here under the radar? Some not even paying taxes or SS . That matters to me. And, as I said, I don't expect you to care about fear-mongering false rhetoric if it's done to achieve an outcome with which you agree. Different strokes. There is no fear mongering false rhetoric in my statement. GET OUT is my thought. Don't care how, just go. We have unemployed CITIZENS that can use those jobs. Let them fill them. I support aggressive immigration reform and have expressed my frustration that the Democrats and Republicans have refused to work together on a reasonable policy for 6 years now. Making baseless idiotic allegations against the Mexican government and characterizing illegal Mexican immigrants as the "worst of the worst rapists and drug pushers" in a bid to push extreme policies is, however, something that I don't support. But, I don't care that you're cool with those types of strategies and that kind of mindset. RE: Presidential race 2016 - sally - 09-17-2015 (09-17-2015, 01:24 PM)F.U. RE: Presidential race 2016 - F.U. - 09-17-2015 I am for whatever it takes to get people talking about it so that we can get something done. I don't care if he said they were handing out cocaine to school kids at the border, as long as it makes people stand up and do something about it. Yes, yes I have. Two of the companies I worked for shut down. The first wasn't a big deal. The second, well not so easy. Maybe things are different in your neck of the woods, but here in the heartland a good job is not as easy to find. RE: Presidential race 2016 - sally - 09-17-2015 (09-17-2015, 01:48 PM)F.U. Wrote: but here in the heartland a good job is not as easy to find. Is it because all the Mexicans take the good jobs? Good jobs aren't always readily available here either, but there is always some kind of job if you really want it. RE: Presidential race 2016 - HairOfTheDog - 09-17-2015 (09-17-2015, 01:44 PM)F.U. I don't care if he said they were handing out cocaine to school kids at the border, as long as it makes people stand up and do something about it. People have been talking about immigration for ages, here and around the world. But, I agree that it's good that Presidential candidates are talking about it a lot in the lead-up to election. Trump just has the most exposure and a loud bullhorn with which to make his voice heard, using the bullshit strategy that you support to push his extreme position to like-minded Americans. You deride politicians who you don't like and who you suspect are lying or misleading the public. BUT, when Donald Trump blatantly deceives/misleads the public and the readily-available facts prove it, that's fine by you (because you're of the same mindset and thus the ends justify the means). I don't feel the same about it, and that's not a problem. To me, blatant bullshitting does not equate to having "balls" or "guts" in any case. Just the opposite. So, we can agree to disagree. RE: Presidential race 2016 - F.U. - 09-17-2015 They do take almost all the jobs in the pork, beef and poultry packing plants like swanson etc. In fact we had a large packing plant raided a few years back and a good portion of the employees got hauled back across the border. Now that isn't really the line of work that I was in, but I was willing to switch jobs just to take a decent job. But my concern is more for others that want to work and cant find a job because those fuckers are here. Plenty of busboy, dishwasher, fast food , gas station attendant jobs that our kids could use to get started are filled with tacos. Either way that really isn't the point. The point is they snuck their asses in here. Throw them back out until they want to be her legally. I mean even a movie theater throws you out for sneaking in. RE: Presidential race 2016 - Maggot - 09-17-2015 I'm looking for a parts assistant, a spiral pipe operator and an inside sales person....nobody wants to work. Ok, so prove to me that he is lying about the tacos. Just like you want proof before finally admitting HRC is a lying bitch, I want proof that the loudmouth is lying about what is being allowed to enter our country under cover of dark. I mean if they were such fine upstanding people they wouldn't have to sneak into our country. They would apply and enter the right way. My husband keeps an help wanted ad running all year and I get about three calls per month. Out of those three calls two of them don't show up and the one who does is on probation. What is wrong with the probation people? Some of my most reliable employees were the ones on paper. |
