It’s getting better. This appointment was with a gastroenterologist because I was queasy and throwing up for a bit before I went to the ER.
They’re going to do some test to check for a bacterial infection (fine) but the not so fine part is they’re scheduling me for a damn colonoscopy. Everyone complains about the prep for a colonoscopy. I’ve only had one but totally ignored the prep directions. I just fasted for one and a half days and took some over the counter laxative and apparently that was sufficient. I’m not drinking some nasty solution for this one either.

Lol, if I couldn’t do that, I’m probably dead. My dog is freaking out while I test these theories. She is NOT happy with me hopping around. Period. I think she probably has more sense than I do.

Speaking of eye sight, around three years ago I saw an ophthalmologist who discovered a “spot” in my eye. I’ve had one or two appointments since then and they’re monitoring the spot (although it’s probably been 8 months+ since I’ve seen them).
I’m falling apart, lol.

I would substitute prune juice. Way too much sugar in the crap they prescribe, who knows what else is in it. Drink 2 bottles in the course of a day with mucho water and you should be good to go.

I got two. Actually I got mildly sick in the early months of Covid. Never got tested but weeks and months later, I started feeling like crap. Info was coming out about long Covid and I related. By the time it was my turn to get a shot some long Covid sufferers were saying the vaccine helped them feel better. So I had a couple reasons to get it.
Can’t say it made me feel better/didn’t make me feel worse. I started to feel more like myself about 6 months after California finally reopened. The brain fog and stuff people report? It’s awful!

No wonder I’m not a fan of geese. Just learned a story from my aunt about my mom.
Apparently when my mom was about 6 her grandparents had geese. One chased my mom around (scaring her) so her grandfather picked up a piece of wood from the wood pile nearby and told my mom to hit it.
She did and killed it.
I didn’t know that about my mom. She killed the goose.

The top 5 best things I have ever eaten was in a wine cellar in Hungary. The old wine maker brought out fresh baked bread that was spread with goose grease and topped with cheese, thinly sliced onions and sliced green grapes. It doesn’t sound like anything special, but something about it was magical. Maybe I was just really drunk, but I think it was the goose grease.
