This is a weird case. Why would the suspects release a film of him being chased? I don't understand why the man was shot either, from the evidence so far. I would not be rummaging around a construction site myself but maybe he was just curious?

He wasn't rummaging. He didn't touch or take anything.
He just stopped there along the path of his jog for a few minutes, looked around (and may have had a drink water at a water source behind the site, which was reportedly not uncommon).
I think McMichael Sr. may have released the video because Arbery's mom had started to push for answers and there wasn't anything to back up the McMichaels' claim that there had been a string of burglaries in the neighborhood of which they suspected Arbery.
In the McMichaels' mindset and words of their attorneys, the fact that Arbery attempted to take away the shotgun with which Travis McMichael was threatening him once they cornered Arbery shows that they were standing their ground when they shot Arbery three times, killing him.
That's not how the stand-your-ground law works, but that's their claim.

I don't understand the intent of your question.
The Daily Mail has branches that cover the U.S., Australia, international, and U.K. news.
And, it often has the most detailed crime stories and pics from across the globe, which is why it's been widely linked in Mock's crime forum since its inception.
But, yeah, the story is being covered by a lot of news outlets owned/based in the U.S. as well. Just search "Arbery McMichael" in Google and you'll get all kinds of national and local links covering the details and updates.

Some southern law enforcement have had a long tradition of abusing their power against people they hate. I remember driving from Phila to Miami long before I-95 was completed. Simply having a "yankee" license plate on your car was reason enough to be stopped and detained, accused of speeding 2 mph over the posted 25 mph limit through town and issued an enormous fine. All this taking place while "good Olde Boys" would speed by. Some drinking and waving open containers and sometimes while standing in the backs of their pickup trucks. This sorry case is a vestige of that antebellum southern tradition and a resentment of blacks being "free" and yankees who "freed" them.

Unfortunately, too many cops in L.A. at the time probably would have gotten in on a gang beating of a suspect who tried to flee rather than surrender upon being pulled over...........when the cops should have instead simply detained and arrested him. Hopefully, that happens less frequently these days.
In any case, what the hell does that have to do with this case about a jogging man being chased by a vehicle, trapped, and shot to death by non police officers, Biggie?

Just testing the waters to see if rational thought existed here, if someone said no way he was black and that's why he was beat that way I would discount your opinion. This dumb fucker ran up and tried to disarm someone who was trying to most likely illegally detain him, not kill him.

The McMichaels (in their truck) chased unarmed Arbery (who was on foot) for at least four minutes, cornered him, and threatened him with guns.
Arbery's "trying to disarm someone" (according to your narrative) looks like "trying to defend himself / survive" to others, including the Georgia Bureau of Investigation which presented probable cause to charge the McMichaels with aggravated assault and murder.
The DOJ is also considering possible hate crime charges.
I'm trusting the assessment of the evidence by impartial state and federal law enforcement agencies over the presumptuous proclamations of BigMark from Mock.

Arbery was placed on probation in 2013 for carrying a gun at a high school basketball game and then charged with shoplifting and violating his probation in 2018, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Arbery’s attorneys have said those charges have nothing to do with his killing.
