We put up our Christmas Tree yesterday, as well as put out all our other inside and outside decorations.

I bought a fake tree for the first time ever. It's flocked and snowed and has white lights. It's very pretty, why have I been buying real ones all of my life? I guess because I felt like it was a tradition, my parents always got real Christmas trees.

Yes tradition, we used to buy live trees when our kids were young.
We all went and picked out our perfect tree each year, many times we
froze our butts off, but it was tradition. (Fun too)
After they grew up, it was easier and less messy needles to clean up
from the live trees we graduated to the artificial trees.
Over the years they became more real looking and then even came with lights.
