I was just third in line at a store and the woman at the front was complaining about someone wearing perfume. The woman behind her said “not me” so she looked at me and said “well, it must be you, then”.
I was like….are u kidding me?!?!!? LOL. I told her I don’t wear perfume and I likely stink instead if she wanted to take a smell.
Crap I wish I had on video. It did kind of smell like perfume. I think the store owner’s wife was probably the culprit.

Similar thing happened to me at the store a couple of weeks ago. It smelled heavily of perfume and I’m pretty sure the culprit was the lady over by the lotto ticket machine. The cashier told me that I smell good which I think she was just trying to be nice because that shit stunk. I told her it’s not me, if I smell like anything then it’s BO because I’ve been out pulling weeds sweating my ass off.

I get it. Some people are apparently overwhelmed by the smell of perfume or cologne. I don’t much like it either (when it’s cloying) but it’s beyond me that someone would call strangers out over it in a 2 minute line at a convenience store over it.
Amused/baffled me. And standing there in my sweats, a t-shirt and tennis shoes, I was mildly offended that she confused me with someone who gives a shit about their odor. C’mon!

I've been out in public and smelled my dad. I know now it was the smell of sandalwood I was drawn to and it's been one of my favorite smells since I was a little kid.

The only solution is to get rid of Musk, would be the first step.

Even as a nurse, I can't stand foul smells, I nearly dry reach. If I stay near it, I will dry reach and it will be socially awkward.
I went with a friend to visit her elderly mother with onset dementia so she could help with her lunch. I was shocked when I walked in, I was over powered by the stench of urine. I didn't sit and wanted to go ASAP. I thought I was going to have to wait outside.
You are a better woman than me Mirah, lavender oil wouldn't cut it.
