I did not.

RE: NFL 2013 SEASON - crash - 02-02-2014

Me either. They're doing reruns here before the game. The current one is the Patriots of 2003.

Here's a brief description. I thought it was worth a watch AND I learned a lesson, letters written by hand still mean something, take the time to do it.

◦Feature on Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning writing letters to players when they retire and the impact the handwritten notes have ◦Includes interviews with Tony Dungy, Matt Birk, John Lynch and Troy Brown

RE: NFL 2013 SEASON - ramseycat - 02-02-2014

I don't know why I thought if this Duchess. I remember years ago you showing your SB party guests posts by Moose and they thought he was a freak. Lol

He's the best! A great role model for kids, and adults too.

I hope he retires now while he's in good heath. The Hoosiers want their man back in Indy coaching the Colts.

He sure is.

Do you really think he'd want to go back & work for that owner? Isn't there some bad blood between them?

I'm very happy for him that he's been so successful after his surgery. I didn't want him to play again. I had real concerns I'd see him get fucked up for life out on the field. The only time I didn't root for him this year is when he spanked my guys.

RE: NFL 2013 SEASON - Midwest Spy - 02-02-2014

Honestly, I'm rooting for the Seahawks (NFC like my Vikes), but if Peyton wins I won't be disappointed. Plus they have the Minnesota kid Decker as one of their better players.

BTW, I'm already buzzed.

Glad I'm not driving.

Ditto that. I would like to see Russell Wilson and the Seattle get up. There's an Aussie connection to the Seahawks, even if Williams spent all season on the injury list. I won't be surprised if Manning gives Wilson a football lesson just the same.

Cant say I was a fan of the operatic version of the Star Spangled Banner

RE: NFL 2013 SEASON - ramseycat - 02-02-2014

Terrance Knighton is a whole lotta football player.

RE: NFL 2013 SEASON - crash - 02-02-2014

Wow..

I wouldn't be stupid enough to say its all over, but the Seahawks are making Peyton look like a third stringer out there at the moment.

Motherfucker...

Those are the prices at jam fests in the desert too. Tons of money to be made on the beverage sales especially, I imagine.

So, the Chili Peppers got me pumped a bit.

Peyton's not gonna give it away, now. The second half belongs to the Broncos! Mark my words (though I may well have to eat them).

RE: NFL 2013 SEASON - FAHQTOO - 02-02-2014

Holy Shit! I can't believe what I'm seeing.

RE: NFL 2013 SEASON - HairOfTheDog - 02-02-2014

Jesus. That's gotta be the worst few seconds of a second half Superbowl that I've ever seen (unless you're with the Seahawks, obviously).

Salt & Pepper?

Pepper and Tabasco, thanks.

Shit.

On the plus side, if this doesn't turn around and he makes another big play or two, there could be some more memorable Richard Sherman interviews in our near future. I just like the asshole.

RE: NFL 2013 SEASON - HairOfTheDog - 02-02-2014

Okay, this is fucking ugly. It just is.

For a couple of seconds, a glimmer of hope with a long pass complete. But...wait. No.

It ain't over though. Hoping for the greatest second half comeback ever after the commercial break.

P.s. Does Pam Oliver look like a crackhead to anybody else? I usually think she's attractive, but she's kinda scaring me tonight.

Haha! I nearly posted "Wow, Pam Oliver's head sure is bobbling all over the place today, I could picture that in good use" but thought that was a bit MS-ish and refrained..

oh hang on

another magic hat, anyone?

RE: NFL 2013 SEASON - username - 02-02-2014

I can't I made guacamole and wings for this. I hate it when I start feeling embarrassed for one team or another. Jesus.

RE: NFL 2013 SEASON - FAHQTOO - 02-02-2014

Looks like the guy who got the tattoo of Seattle winning the SB will have the last laugh.

On a lighter note...I think that's the best half time show I've seen since Tom Petty. If the game was going better, I might have got up and danced.
