Am I the asshole for feeling upset that my sister has decided that we will have Christmas lunch on the 23rd so that she can go spend the weekend with her boyfriend at the cabin? I can also go to the cabin w/ them and my other sister, but my mom won't go because it is too difficult for her. So then she would be alone on the 24th and 25th if I went.
I know my mom would be fine and I could go. It just doesn't feel right.

How does your sister get to make a decision on her own that affects other family members? Is that normal? I don't have sisters so I don't know that dynamic. Given it affects a number of people, shouldn't everyone have a say in how it goes down?

Nta, but why would you want to go on a weekend trip to a cabin with your sister AND her boyfriend?  Is his fantasy to bang all 3 of you at once, or is it your fantasy to listen to your sister have sex all night long?
