I have always harbored the suspicion that Starguard was an alt of jack or somebody similar, especially the way that ONLY jack ever seemed to be aggravated by the guy or his antics. Almost like he was trying to hard to create some drama out of the air.

Unfortunately I think Cory really is that guy, he comes off as somewhere on the autistic spectrum. But after Gear targetted him so badly I don't think he'd trust me regarding forums any more. A lot of the people Gear tore into were people I had sold on the idea of a more user-friendly place for people to talk like grownups. It's what made me finally tap out and delete my account.

I found Cory's Facebook page, no idea if he cares enough to come by or will even see the message. But he may show up. He used to like to tuck himself into a relatively quiet corner of a forum and post his stream of consciousness stuff, probably what he would do here as well. Counting spinflippery, Trollkingdom, and Comicon Ive interacted with him almost 20 years. Christ that's longer than most of my rl friendships.
