I think phone calls matter when they are jamming the switchboard, there have been a few of those moments the past year & a half, I would never say they don't make a difference. I understand what you mean by wanting to make a difference, I've been feeling that too but I look around my community, my state and there's nothing bad going on that could move me to be an activist, in a bizarre way I wish there was, I want to help. My state cares about the people, the environment, equal rights, the less fortunate, etc and we still have money for great roads, wonderful schools, programs for the needy.

That is awesome. I think there is always a place or a person that can be helped. It doesn't have to be big. (I am more saying that out loud for myself to hear it)
This lady is handing out coffee and donuts to homeless youth in North Bend. The place I used to live. I felt sort of guilty watching it, because instead of staying and helping out, I fled.

His articulation is terrible. He has no Presidential posture. If you want these things in a President, you will get no better role model than Barrack Obama.
As to which of those gentlemen has actually been (from a policy position) HARD on Russia, it is sure as Hell not Obama.
Hell Putin invaded Crimea. What did Obama do? Anything? Okay what? What did he send to the Ukrainians to help them? Still don't know? Socks and blankets. When Putin interfered in and before the 2016 elections under Obama's watch, what did Obama do? Anything? Yup, he told Putin to "cut it out".
Trump, placed sanctions, expelled diplomats, sent weapons to Ukrainians to bolster their defences against Russia, took on Assad's regime, Bolstered the US Armed services, Strengthened NATO financially and recently blasted Germany for making deals with Russia.
Hardly a friend and it would be beyond stupid to infer someone doing this is somehow under the thumb or being dominated by Putin. I know you are not trying to say this though.
You are saying he is boorish, inarticulate and embarrassing for US and there is a lot to support this viewpoint.

Fry Guy, there are people that are saying Putin has dirt on Trump. I am not saying that, because how can we know that? People say all kinds of weird stuff all the time. I am talking about what it looked like more than what the actually reality is. I don't know what the reality is, because I don't think the full truth is out there. Maybe we will never know. Maybe there is nothing to know.
