Jimmy Lemmon died Dec. 3, and Plumadore continued to live in his home. The neighbors said Plumadore's only source of income was donating plasma, and they were beginning to wonder how he'd pay the rent. They said that after Jimmy Lemmon died, Plumadore seemed depressed but lately seemed to be recovering. Shumaker and Tulley agreed there was nothing in Plumadore's behavior to indicate he would do such a thing.
“He was a friendly guy,” Tulley (RSO) said.
They said the only unusual change in Plumadore's behavior was an increase in laundry. Shumaker said they washed his laundry for him, but on Friday he showed up with an extra load. Otherwise, he seemed fine.
Shumaker remembered Plumadore saying to him as he got into his truck: “I just want her back, I just want her back.”
The mobile home park is currently home to 14 sex offenders, according to the state's sex offender registry, including Tulley and Smead, who are listed as sexually violent predators. Smead is also listed as a sexual predator in Ohio.

I have shed a bucket of tears over this little girl. I know it's because this happened 15 miles down the road. I don't know her anymore than the other kids that LC posts about. This is way to close for comfort. I would rather keep my head buried in the sand and think that things this horrendous could never happen close to me.
The shitty trailer park has set up a bank account for the family. I don't want one red cent going to those irresponsible, selfish assholes. If the funeral home or some reputable business set up an account to help pay for her funeral I would give in a heartbeat. Any money that's collected had better go straight to a trust fund for the other 2 little girls. I don't want any money going to that fat hog of a "mother", her worthless piece of shit husband, and his worthless mother. I pray to God they (the kids) slept through this horror...we know the mother and step-dad did...peacefully, I'm sure.
The killer has met 2 of the 3 requirements for the death penalty so far. Killing a child under 12, and dismemberment. The other was aggravated circumstances. I don't know what that means.

These are just rumors I'm hearing at work and things I've heard on the radio all day. I suppose I should check the latest news links but I figured LC already has anything current posted.
FQ, I hate to even type these words, but he admitted to killing her with a brick, which may or may not have been bloody, depending on how he hit her. He later put her in the freezer for about 12 hours before doing the dismembering. The freezing would cut down on the mess at that point.
I suspect this is not his first and he has had some practice in the past to prefect his technique....
Did I mention how much I hated typing those words?

FORT WAYNE – A small Iowa community pulled together to raise money to send the father of 9-year-old Aliahna Marie Maroney Lemmon to Fort Wayne to bury his daughter.
Dawayne Maroney of Centerville, Iowa, declined comment to The Journal Gazette on Wednesday through Appanoose County Sheriff Gary Anderson.
Anderson, however, said Maroney was in the process of making arrangements to get to Fort Wayne and might have left as early as Wednesday night.
Centerville is the county seat and has about 6,000 people, Anderson said.
The sheriff said he gave money out of his pocket, and reserve deputies also donated money, to help get Maroney to Indiana. Other donations from the community came in to provide Maroney with money to eat and for other expenses while in Fort Wayne, the sheriff said.

Family and friends of Aliahna Lemmon, the 9-year-old who was found bludgeoned and cut to pieces Monday, were removing the girl's belongings from the mobile home where she lived.
Aliahna's mother, Tarah Souders, couldn't bear to look at her daughter's possessions any longer, so they would be taken to a storage facility, said Allen Souders, the girl's stepfather.
“She just can't stand to be around this stuff after what happened,” he said.
But Souders would not discuss his stepdaughter's death, or the neighbor charged with murdering her, in detail because of the pending investigation.
The Aliahna Lemmon Benefit Fund has been set up for the family of murdered 9-year-old girl, Aliahna Lemmon. Monies donated to the fund will be turned over to the family for expenses and counseling.

Michael Len Plumadore, 39, will not return to court this Friday.
Plumadore made a preliminary court appearance in Allen County Misdemeanor Court on Tuesday morning, where he was told probable cause exists, to hold him on murder charges of 9-year-old Aliahna Lemmon. At that time his next court appearance had been scheduled for Friday.
According to Jeremy Tinkle, spokesperson for the Allen County Sheriff's, the decision was made Thursday afternoon to move the hearing back to next week.
Allen County Prosecutor's Office said formal charges will still be filed Friday.
Jeremy Tinkle with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department said Plumadore will not be set free.
The county has 72 hours to file formal charges. When they are filed Friday, a warrant will be sent to the jail and read to Plumadore, where he will continue to be detained.
Plumadore is expected to be in court by Wednesday at the latest.

Anyone, parent or not, with a damn lick of sense would know that NOTHING good would come out of a situation like that! I think these "parents" just didn't give a shit. Let the kids be someone else's problem.
