I've been trying to turn our TK newbie-subforum into a room like that for ages, but those damn admins are bloody liberals and always start babbling about personal rights and bs like that. There was a glorious time once when we had two super-smart bouncers who were really dedicated to detect the riffraff, but you can only inflict that much pain before the people in line get impatient...

user, are you talking about the links at TK, or those in that document, or others entirely? If the first one - those are .txt files, you would have to copy them into your browser. And no matter what people tell you, use a proxy. But seriously - it ain't worth it. If you refer to links IN those documents: As Duchess said - do not click on them, even though I'm pretty sure they're invalid.

So whatever, newbies are getting vetted before they even reach posting status. Great to weed out those that are using proxies or whatever but I'll assume forthwith that any newbie has already passed test (perhaps with LOTS of posts that the elders can see) so I don't see any need in quizzing newbies. I guess it's being taken care of behind the scenes. IMO, the brief stop in purgatory is fine but once admin decides to let that person post an introduction, it ought to include all the baggage they brought in with them.
Fuck it. I don't feel well and that might be contributing to my grumpy mood but WTF? Why make a change like that (i.e., we have this new sub-forum where we're quizzing nOObs that none of you can see) without announcing it? Couching it in terms like "we're making some changes".
Fucking irritating and if that's where Maggot has been spending all his time I'm even THAT much more irritated.
