those fucking pies are deep 'fried', not baked.
I remember on one of my trips to Russia seeing all the babushkas outside of the moscow mcdonalds begging. As soon as they had enough kopecks for the purchase price of one of these delectable delights they'd run in and buy one, only to chow it down like a hungry wolf while finding a position in the begging que to do it all over again...
I wonder now if that was the reason for the wall coming down....

Actually I've got shitloads of slides but I haven't looked at them for years. The next time I run into some I'll scan and post something but if you saw the closet these are located in you'd understand my reluctance at digging through it.
St.Petersburg is called the Venice of the north and that's where I spent most my time. A city of 8 million and all trying to ride the subway at one time. ::blink::
Never been to Africa... been to Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic (prague is the most beautiful city in europe), Austria,Ukraine, Romainia, Albania, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and all over Western Russia from the Urals west.

And as a side note: I would just like to say how much more pleasant this forum is with Brother on ignore. It's the difference between walking down the street of a pigeon infested town before or after the streets have been hosed down. I highly recommend it.
