Nothing but almond tree’s, cattle ranches, and farms as far as the eyes could see. Google Merced Pitchfork Murders…those were my neighbors kids. No neighborhood is immune to crime that I know of.

I've never said that the victims were angels. Lisa seemed to be out of her league. She wasn't an ex con like Johnny or AP. Not too bright, most likely, but no indication she was a violent criminal.

I think it will be solved. In fact, I'd be surprised if LE doesn't already know who was involved. My guess is that they are just trying to find the proof they need to build a solid case with no mistakes before they start making arrests since this is such a big case, in Toledo anyway.

I think it will be solved. It takes time for DNA and fingerprints to come back. And even though it seems like it's been for forever, it's been just about 8 weeks and i think someone put up a chart that showed an average of turn around time that this case is still right in that time frame still. Even if the DNA (whether it has come back or not) isn't currently in the system it will be ran every week to see if it matches someone. I am confident that someone will talk and I really think that LE because of the type of people they are dealing with what to make sure they have everything lined up so when they bring this person(s) in that, it's air tight. I think LE wants to make sure that they don't make any more errors and have someone get off on a technicality.

Earlier in this thread I wrote about the presumption of innocence and all of the innocent people who have gone to death row because they "looked" guilty and because LE and the justice system are so corrupt. I believe him when he says he's "old school" and would not snitch. I respect that in a weird way. hah I hate snitches, too. I actually felt sad when I read that stuff. He talked about not having any friends and he talked about his weird sense of honor in his criminal world. I actually kind of liked him. Then, I had to remind myself that he's threatened to kill people and "make them famous". I believe he'd do it. Would he kill people by putting bags over their heads? He says no and that may be right. He seemed disgusted with that manner of murder and called it cowardly. After reading all that I think if he had a grievance with someone he'd shoot them.

I have ZERO faith in the justice system or juries. The system is corrupt and too many people are stupid. Anyone who goes to trial in this case (if that ever happens) will "look guilty" just because of their sleazebag lives. Prosecutors and juries love hanging somebody and they do it to innocent people all the time.

partly yes...and based on some other factors too.

I work in the system (I don't want to give away too much of myself here)...but there are some other "high profile" cases that are local, that have been in the media as of late. DNA and fingerprints and all that scientific stuff is back on those cases. so it doesn't make sense that "it's not back on this case." we've heard NOTHING.... other than the "rumor" that the DNA is back and there were no hits. knowing what I know about other things...that makes complete sense. I actually completely believe that.

I think this case is "bigger" -for lack of better words- than these south end thugs are able to pull off. I think it's pretty clear that they'd beat, rob or kill ya- but probably do it with a gun.
