Mill' we don't know each other and I imagine we don't agree on much or have much in common, apart from the fact of a wife who is/has fought a very cruel disease. I understand the need to have time away from it, and I refuse to judge anyone for their actions when they are a partner of someone suffering what a lot of the time can be a terminal disease. The emotional burden can be overwhelming to say the least and to continue to be able to provide the best care for their partner, the person also needs some respite to gain the strength to fight some more. I don't feel sorry for you, or your wife; I hate the term. I imagine the last thing you want is pity, I didn't. I do however wish you and your wife the strength to get through, whatever the outcome is.
