The victim earlier this week told Fort Pierce police she was on her bicycle when Harry Lee Gray “charged her in his electric wheelchair” at an address in the 600 block of Avenue B, according to a recently released arrest affidavit.

A dinner table argument over vegetables, in part, spurred a Tuesday domestic dispute and arrest in Golden Gate Estates, according to a Collier County Sheriff’s report.
Collier deputies arrested Richard D. Rickard, 48, of the 200 block of 2nd Street Southeast, on a charge of misdemeanor battery from the incident.
According to an arrest report, Rickard and his stepson were at the dinner table together when the father grew angry over his stepson’s refusal to eat his vegetables and over his computer usage. The stepson, who has lived with Rickard for 23 years, left the table for his bedroom when Rickard caught up to him, grabbed him by the shoulder and pushed him into the wall, according to the report.
The stepson suffered minor scratches and bruising on his harm, the report states.
Responding deputies found Rickard intoxicated as he returned home from a neighbor’s house and arrested him, according to the report.
