OK, all of this time I haven't taken this forum seriously. Even being called a murderer. But then people started taking me seriously, and now I have to wonder whether or not they were being serious. Up to this point I've tried to be a Mocker, in the spirit of this forum. But in this post I am being serious.
Anytime a life is lost, justifiably or not, it is a tragedy. I've never bragged about my part in the loss of a life. It is a burden I will have to carry with me for the rest of my life. I was/am not willing to be a statistic and let someone murder me. I defended myself, and make no excuses for my actions. It was him or me. My conviction was overturned due to newly discovered exculpatory evidence that validates my claim of self defense and impeaches the prosecutor's only witness. The Court of Appeals reversed my conviction and the Supreme Court agreed with that decision.
