I noticed the judge still hasn't decided on the DNA squabble concerning Williams. He wants the attorneys to submit more argument.

They are going to use all and any angles to try and get Cameo off the hook! Kenyatta divorced Mr. Baker in 2005. Mr. Baker told Taylor Dungjen Toledo Blade Reporter he helped raise Cameo for 13 years. It's a mystery to me if both parents Mother and Step Father were around that long what happened to Cameo? Somewhere here along the way unfortunately!! Cameo Pettaway got totally out of control, fathered a child at bloody 15 years of age, got angry and violent towards women.

Cameo is to blame for the way he turned out no one else! I'm so sick of cowardly F's that want to blame everything and everybody else.

I believe the motion is suggesting that when similar circumstances [alleged drug dealer victims] involve BLACKS, the death penalty was not sought, in Lucas county. In other words: Kill whitey and you gonna die. Kill darkie and enjoy the three hots and a cot. Bummer for you, Maytee.

This is one of the angles I guess! Tiffany Williams and Mr. Z didn't have anything "drugs" but, were going too "drugs" that night IMO. Lisa also on Facebook that evening told a male friend if we do some, I'll let you know.
So they are all mixed up in drugs and more drugs but, two reputed drug traffickers? are we serious?

sadly, the defense can dirty up the victims with impunity. maytee will not be pleased. and i feel for Lisa's parents to have to read allegations that their daughter was a drug trafficker.

I saw that this morning NightOwl. And it looks like we have the "AT" from earlier discovery. Amy Teneyck. Seems like that is where LE came up on a ring? And maybe some other stuff.

Jerimy Kohn (JK) had a search warrant for his residence on 5/5/11. I noted that he lived two doors down from Alexandra Cousino
(APs ex that bought a car from Johnny).

Love having all these initials come to light.

In the other courtroom, Williams kind of got his motion about Confidential witness #1 and #2, GRANTED. But only In camera and 7 days before trial. Which is coming up pretty fast.

I see Amy Tenecyk on Cameo Pettaways old page on Facebook she does not come up on his new page.

Where does all this benefit Cameo? If she is the AT with the ring! whose ring was it? If it was something of value from the Straub's IMO did Cameo give her the ring or sell her the ring it would possibly place him at the Straub's.

Despite being told his DNA was detected on evidence collected at the scene of a double-homicide in Springfield Township, Samuel Williams maintained he had not been to the home and did not know the young couple killed there, according to a police interview played in Lucas County Common Pleas Court Tuesday.

The recorded interview between Williams and Lucas County investigators was played in court so that the dialogue could be transcribed for the official record. The nearly one-hour interview is currently the subject of a defense motion to suppress.

Whether a jury will hear the recording is now to be decided by Judge Dean Mandros.

Williams, 24, of 1626 Kelsey Ave. is charged with two counts each of aggravated murder and of kidnapping and one count of aggravated burglary in the 2011 asphyxiation deaths of a Springfield Township couple. He faces the death penalty if convicted.

Judge Mandros heard testimony last month in which the defense said Williams invoked his rights to have an attorney and to remain silent but that the interview continued. Tom Ross, an investigator for the prosecutor’s office, testified at the hearing saying that he read Williams his Miranda rights and that he did not believe Williams clearly cited his rights during the interview.

Williams and co-defendant Cameo Pettaway are charged in the slayings Jan. 31, 2011, of Johnny Clarke, 21, and Lisa Straub, 20, who were found dead in the Long­acre Lane home of Miss Straub’s parents. Williams is slated to go to trial June 4, with jury selection scheduled for the week before. Pettaway’s trial is scheduled for the same week as Williams’.

During the recorded interview, Williams was asked if he had been to Longacre Lane home where Mr. Clarke and Ms. Straub were found with their wrists bound with duct tape and with plastic bags over their heads. He denied that he had been there or knew the home.

In a written memorandum supporting the motion to suppress any of Williams’ statements, attorney John Thebes noted that Williams stated within the first minute of the interview, “Not talking.” He subsequently stated that he would not be making a statement at least four additional times, Mr. Thebes said in the court document.
